Completely agree. Not sure how Poulter is the bad guy here. If garbage fan behavior isn't punished it's only going to get worse. If they had thrown out anyone who yelled "MASHED POTATOES" 20 years ago they could've nipped that nonsense in the bud too.

True story. Played with a long lost buddy yesterday, a guy who maybe plays four times a year if he's lucky. He got there early, got all warmed up, put on a stripe show for the first four or five holes. 6 through 18 though....not so much. Heard an awful lot of grumbling about using up all his bullets on the range, lol.

Yeah, golf “feels” are a cruel mistress.

 

You warm up, get a great feel, take it out there, then it leaves you, as “feels” always do eventually.

 

Geoff Ogilvy once said said he just goes with the flow, tries not to chase a feel that is gone, and just goes with however thing feel that day.

He also attempts some really really stupid shots, hes good for one a round at least. What was it at the Players, 185ish yards from a fairway bunker over water into a left to right wind and he tried to hit a drawy 8 iron.
