> For those of you that use the site, is it just me or were the first 2 courses difficult to sit through? For a new subscriber I guess it's worth listening, but I couldn't stand having to listen to a 5 minute videos on P1-P10 positions and GG mostly defining things rather than getting into it. Just when I thought he was going to get into it, it was another "this is a pivot point ... now I'll get more into how to use these in another section." Would've preferred first 2 courses to be optional. But almost a month in and I feel I still haven't gotten to the coaching part.

>

> Not hating ... I do really like what he teaches (IG and previous website subscriber). I'm just impatient lol.

Not a subscriber but it sound like he was defining terms, etc that are going to be used later in the course. If you make that optional and people skip it because they “wanted to get into it” then once he gets into it and they have no idea what he’s referencing they get lost. Once they are lost many won’t go back to get the fundamentals he was referencing in the first 2 courses. Now it all becomes relatively useless and frustrating, some may even say what he’s teaching won’t work, doesn’t work or some other nonsense

Will be interesting to hear what people say midway into the program. From the 500 price tag, might be worth with the amount of content but you could argue maybe it’s too much content/too high a price for online learning.

For those of you that don't read fine print like I do ... his membership only has an yearly option (you can pay monthly or one-time). I thought the monthly rate meant I could cancel if I didn't like the content, but didn't read the fine print and I'm locked in. In hindsight, would've spent $500 on an actual lesson rather than get locked in for a year on content where he basically explains 100 different ways to swing.

Driver: Callaway Rogue ST 🔸🔸🔸 LS 9.0* - Fujikura Ventus Black w/ Velocore 6x

3-Wood: Cobra King F9 Speedback 13.5* - Accra FX 2.0 300F M5

5-Wood: Cobra King F9 Speedback Tour 16.5* - Mitsubishi Diamana D+ Limited Edition 80 X

3-Iron: Mizuno MP-20 HMB - Project X 6.5

4-PW: Mizuno JPX 919 Tour - Project X 6.5

Wedges: Taylormade MG3 52.09 - Project X 6.5

Taylormade MG3 56.12; Taylormade Hi-Toe Raw 60* - Project X 6.0

I signed up too and have found the first 3 courses to be an eye opener on a few things. We are only through the backswing, how are you so sure about his site already?

Website is very informative with tons of content. One of the main issues people have is waiting for new sections to open. I understand why he's doing it that way but the periods are just way too long. Overall its a great program

Don't care what anyone says but you have to be incredibly stupid to use an online coach without seeing them first. No way on earth you will get real value for money. It's just utter stupidity. Golf is supposed to be one of the hardest sports and yet the only sport you are supposed to teach online? Gtfo! It's just bs internet marketing that gullible people have been sucked into.

Your instructor had to physically see you for you to get real value for money. And even then no way on earth GG is worth what he is charging in person. It's utter madness but then again it's the power of social media or should I say the herd mentality. of today's society.

I think the guys on here who worked with iteach and Monte might disagree. There’s plenty of golfers who have found success with online lessons.

This is utterly ridiculous and objectively wrong. Just from a common sense standpoint, I have no idea what you think an instructor is doing in person for a high handicapper while in person vs. what he sees in the swing in a video. Now, it's a different story if you're a pro golfer working on subtle changes on trackman, pressure plates, etc. but of course any high/mid-handicapper hack can get a ton of benefit from online lessons.

So question for those doing the GG course. I get it that all the modules are not unlocked so people don't blow through them in a week then cancel membership. I get that its a yearly membership. But if your going through the modules at your own pace and in order does the next one just unlock or is it unlocked and uploaded to whole community/sit at that time?? What is happening currently ??

Not a member but from what I’ve read it unlocks at a certain point after completing previous module.

Another question. For those that have joined is there any info on cost or content after the first year?? I can appreciate the hard work thats has gone into the site and i get wanting members to go through the "whole course" but after its complete what are the benefits? If the model is to be your own coach then whats the catch or offer. Is there any info to members? Like after a year cost is $50 year, $100 year? You get a online lesson with GG Etc Thanks guys

The price remains the same after a year. It’s access to the content that one is paying for. Whether you complete the training in a year or not doesn’t matter

It’s not time limited. Granted modules release at a specific time but I don’t think he or anyone associated with the site stated it would only take a year to complete a site a complete at your pace type offering.

What other paid access site gives you the content for free or at a reduced prices after the contract is up?

What other site charges you $500+?

He says he your own swing coach so after the year is up..shouldn’t you be proficient in that?

His site’s information “modules” is structured different up front so I can absolutely see someone else’s view point that they should get a significantly reduced rate just to receive basically updates.

Each site is different, regardless of price when you pay for a subscription you get access to whatever content fit the length of the subscription period. Once that’s up if you want access to what you have viewed already and what you haven’t you pay for that price.

It’s $500 for an hour with GG and $400 for an online lesson. $500 for a year is pretty cheap when it comes to the information he is giving. I’m not a member but from those I’ve seen who are the information is really good and helpful. It’s setup for those who are serious about learning the swing and fixes. Could he have done it for a cheaper price like amg and sold more memberships? Of course but imagine the amount of time that he put in to making all the content. Time is money. Like anything some are willing to pay and others aren’t. Neither is better than the other and it’s a choice one has

I asked my same question to customer service and there response was after the initial year subscription is up it goes month to month and you can cancel anytime. There will still be new content added. Also which is not clear on the website is you have access to the golf forum and can post your swing and can a review. I assume that is not the same Gg Facebook group tgst was created. If true well worth it for the swing review. As far as cost. Eric at Cogorno golf charged approx the same but it’s month to month and he reviews your swing once a month

I learned A LOT more when I went and saw Dan vs the few months of online lessons I took prior to going and seeing him.

In search of solid contact...

It's somewhere in between "zero" and "lots," that's for sure.
