So long as it's on the list already you might consider pinching the quoted text vertically and widen it horizontally (as it was before). As is it makes the vertical page longer than it needs to be which causes much more scrolling of the page.

It's easy enough to see/notice a quote. No need to center it and pinch it in.

Make it wider and less vertical, THEN, if you like, center it to make it stand out a bit.

Another very small item, the likes used to be listed on the bottom right hand side of the screen so we could see who registered them, would be nice to have it back.

I hear you. No way to hover on an iPhone. Which is what I primarily use.

it would be interesting to know the breakdown of what browsers are being used to hit this site. I’m certain their metrics have that data.

Just coming back to say that the lag has gone. Normal typing is now possible, thank goodness. I think the issue was resolved a couple of days ago or so. Well done, anyway.
