Does anyone actually like their own swing on video?

I'm in the same place - mine has been a work in progress for about 18 months. Went from super weak right hand grip, sway off the ball, overswinging, flat shoulder plane and flip at the ball (https://forums.golfwrx.com/discussion/1664736/ddetts-swing-journey-2020-goals-updated-swing-progress-pg-17) to considerably better now with improvements in grip, shorter backswing and petter pelvis movement (https://forums.golfwrx.com/discussion/comment/19280536/#Comment_19280536)

I'm probably due for an updated lesson (I've done a few online lessons with Monte) but also think I would benefit from in-person lessons too as I often struggle with feedback and knowing I am working on the right things or in the right way.

Yep, I had one online lesson with Dan and it helped me fix some major flaws. But I think in-person access and check-ins should be really beneficial.

I've been playing there lately. Run by American Golf. It is evidently the most heavily played course in continental US. Right now the greens are in GREAT shape - fast and smooth (for such a heavily played course).

Actually now just go to your vid, and copy the url. Then click on the little box right of the photo box and left of the paperclip (no idea what it is supposed to represent) - paste what you copied into the box, click on the "insert" prompt and it will show up and work like a charm. Easier than it used to be!

I think I only have one video of my swing, indoors into a net. And I have no idea how to post it.

Which is probably good because one of the times I played with a group of WRX’ers I think DavePelz4 almost fell over laughing after seeing me swing. No sense inflicting the same punishment on the good people here!

I saw my swing on video about one month ago. It was the first time I’ve seen it in about 15 years where I didn’t want to throw up after looking at it. I think it still looks so so, but at least it’s tolerable.

Though i would say i am a better golfer now.

I just don't like my current swing as much on video (posted in the OP). Though right now i only have a one way miss and am way more consistent

I hate my swing on video. In lessons I won't even let the pro show me video, he can only show me stills (he looks at the video however). I've become so discouraged with the look of my swing over the past year that it just gets in the way. Funny thing is my practice swing looks pretty good, but putting the ball in front of me changes everything. Getting better but it's a struggle to fight back.
