Cleveland launcher hb turbo. 16*. Forgiving, long, and very consistent distances. It's very easy off the turf and is as easy as an iron off the tee for me. No issues going left or ballooning yet and it has a nice wooden crack at impact. I dumped my tee ex9 from the bag because the Cleveland seemed to be better in every situation.

I have a Nike VRS covert 2.0 tour 3 hybrid cranked down to 17°. Pretty deep face compared to my other hybrids, and hardly any offset at all. Doesn't go left on me, and it's quite easy to strike off the tee. Can usually find them for $50-$70 or so, if you can get over the color of the head, it's fantastic. I replaced my 3 wood with it as I was having trouble with the longer club off the turf. Off the ground I can get about 250 out of it, and another 10-15 off the tee. For reference, driver SS 105-110

PING G-410 hands down, I could not get any long iron or hybrid up with a fistful of Viagra, bought a PING G-410 3H on eBay due to the price (cheap!!) HIGH, straight , forgiving and long, have added a 4 and looking for a 5 now

Original Tour Edge Exotics XCG 16*. 2008 titanium cup-faced goodness. Usually $50ish on eBay. I can't justify carrying a fairway wood with this club in the bag.

Find an old Adams super 9031 with the diamana shaft. Still the best. Adams had hybrids down.

Adams xtd super hybrid (the titanium version) is still the best low lofted hybrid ever. I still use the 15* as my 3 wood.

Adams or TEE something. Longest hybrid I've ever hit was the CB4 Pro, but the TI Adams Super LSP's are pretty nice performers.

Titleist makes the U510 utility 1 iron at 16°, the TS3 hybrid can be had at 17° and adjusted down. Callaway super hybrid can be had in 17° and adjusted down, if you're looking to replace a fairway wood with a hybrid, especially a 3 wood, the super hybrid is a great place to start. If you really wanted to get crazy you could take a super hybrid, have a shop install an opposite handed adapter on the shaft, then you'd have the ability to go down 2° of loft and make a 15° hybrid.

I've been using a G410 2 hybrid for over a year now as a 3W replacement, and I've begun using it as a club off the tee when I have a layup tee shot or when I can't afford to miss to the right. FWIW, I have the Tensei blue shaft in mine; that was the result of a pretty extensive fitting process.

It's a great club; far, far easier to hit than a fairway wood. I find a LOT more shots for that club than I ever did for any fairway wood.
