2021 Ping Driver help

So its a small world but I can confirm that Ping will release clubs to the Aussie market this fall. I have a buddy that plays online games with one popular Aussie reviewer and he confirmed that he will have new Ping clubs reviews up very soon during one of their gaming sessions today. Interesting release strategy and wondering if they can get enough production up and running if they will do an early release in the US. The PGA Show is definitely in doubt as of now so there would be no real reason to hold back if they are not launching there.

Take it to the bank. I have been waiting ages for a 12* Max and eventually caved in and bought a Sim Max 12* last week. Now this news, and I happen to live in Australia too...

Honest question for those in Australia. Does Ping have their own facility that makes and fills orders that is different than the USA?

 

Considering how far behind they are on custom orders here in the USA I don’t know how they could support a new product release here unless they do have a different facility.

I think there´s one in Asia. Either Thailand or Japan. And I´m guessing that plant supplies NZ and Aus

I was joking...the new driver I have been waiting for will come out as soon as I give up waiting and buy something else.

 

Having said that, a PING rep told me earlier this year (pre-covid chaos) that there wouldn't be a new driver in 2020 so who knows.

My G400 driver was purchased in NZ. The head is made in China, the Tour 65 shaft made in Bangladesh and assembled in the USA.  Maybe they're thinking, issue in a smaller market, beta testing if you will.  Most of Australia and NZ is also not in lock down, and coming into warmer weather/golf season as one poster mentioned.  Plus it's probably time the Southern Hemisphere got the releases first for change no?? ?
