yeah, we almost got kicked out cuz one of my playing partner wore hot pink pants(only possible reason).  we didn't really get kicked out but they asked us for our credentials after we passed through 2-3 gate scans. seems like they wanted to kick us out. hahahaha

Hey there, I am just briefly checking in. I have 8 guys staying in house for the Masters that checked in today. 36 a day with two served meals.They are from Charlotte. Commish is busy serving peole but I am still able to see a bunch of the action at work. I will when I have the time go back and catch up with all the stuff that was posted today. I did take a quick scan of of all the fantastic pics Mr. Chuntsman shared. Thanks for those, and when I take a longer look I may have questions for you.  

The Master's is an awesome Major tournament for sure, but Augusta National is the perfect golf course and for me always steals the show. 

 

I took an item out to a player on the course this morning and ran into this grandpa. He decided to put on a show when I continued to talk to him from the golf cart. 

 

As Chuntsman said earlier, we hope all of you get out and play a round this week like he and I were fortunate to do. It's spring and it's Masters week. The best golf week of the year.

 

 

I'll be around some here and there.     GO MORIKOWA!

Add one more to that list.  I hit the Masters lottery for 2016 tickets winning 4 Wed practice round tix.  Sold one which basically paid for our trip.  Myself, Mrs. NCLancer, and my cousin drove a few hours down to Columbia, SC and stayed the night.  Left from there around 7AM, got to Augusta around 8 and waited in line for the gates to open.  Spent the whole day at the course and in the later afternoon saw a bit of the Par 3 contest.  It may sound stupid but it was one of the best days ever...  

 

Els the next day 6-putted the first.  I guess he should not have listened to my advice on tweaking his grip...

 

Thongchai Jaidee on 13.  Smallest guy I've ever seen just rip a ball.

End of a long day...tired and happy.

I am sure I speak for many around here in saying thanks to NCL and Chuntsman for sharing their Augusta experiences in words and fab photos. I will be taking a longer look once my busy workweek is behind me. I have posted up my trip there once here but perhaps a brief refresh is order this Masters week. I will include some new photos. 

 

This week is so special to us serious golfers. Our thread reflects some of that.

I was with Rosie's first shot onward as well this morning Chtsmn.  It got real slippery out of the gate for him. I was so hoping he wasn't going to wash yesterday's excellent work down the drain. I am a big fan of the classy well speaking Brit. His final round at Marion is one of my all time favorites in a major. He ground it out today and once again turned a slow start into a better finish. That was a mighty key turnaround. 

 

I'm pulling for Rosie.
