.I find it interesting that short of JT and Adam Scott (and I guess Ricky for now) most of the Cameron tour staff are not mallet players.  While tour has shifted to mallets in droves, most Cameron guys have not even experimented with his mallet options.  Maybe its more just the fact someone who plays a Cameron blade is a certain type of "feel" putter that would never use a mallet regardless.  Idk

 

In fact when you look out across the tour, there are very few blades in play other than a handful of PLD Ansers & Toulons.  Most PING, TaylorMade, & Odysseys in play are mallets from those brands.  Wonder if that changes at all with this next Cameron release.

This putter is pretty amazing.  Looks a lot smaller over the ball than I expected, and feels really solid out of the center of the face.  I haven't taken it on course yet as my T22 Fastback has been really good to me as of late.  

 

Even if it never makes it out of the house - I'm definitely glad I was able to get one at retail.  Really fun to roll.

This is a good observation. I myself use a strong arc, large toe hang putter and have experimented with the face balance mallet putters to no avail. I am not sure if it is a feel thing or just engrained in my stroke, but you are correct with the trend toward mallets on tour and I wonder if people are actually putting better with them then their blade style putter

Kyle, also did a JT mod to my X5 with tuna milling and it came out phenomenal!!!! He really does great work and will be very upfront about what he can and can't do. He won't try anything that he's not confident won't look good and come out right. If you like his stuff I'd contact him and get the ball rolling! Highly recommended!!! Check out the pics of mine he did below!

Norcal putters will, he just did my t22 limited and it came out perfect (this is a picture of my putter on his instagram).

So how are guys feeling that went out and bought this putt now that SC has released the Phantom X 5.5 which is the same putter without the Circle T graphics?  If I spent $850, I'd be pissed unless it was just an expensive piece for an I Love Scotty room.....

Oh and by the way, I called my Titleist Rep and ordered mine for substantially less than $850

I finally pulled the trigger on one of these.  I’ll probably just throw it in the man cave in hopes JT goes on a nice run with it.
