I have no problem with any announcers. It’s a tough job and they do a good job. 
 

That being said, NBC should throw all the money they can at Phil to take over the booth. Zinger is no Johnny Miller, which isn’t an insult to Zinger, Johnny is a legend (whether you like him or not, it’s true).

Bryson is definitely using PEDS.  However, that doesn't excuse Zinger's comments.  As a personal trainer who has a bodybuilding back round and has had pro athletes as clients in the past, I can tell you that PED use is rampant in all sports including golf.  You can't gain 40 pounds regardless of whether it's a combo of muscle, fat and bloat(fluid) like Bryson has in such a short period of time without the assistance of steroids and or hgh and growth hormone inducing peptides.    He has also gotten significantly stronger in the gym as well.  I am a huge fan of Bryson, but I worry for his health especially his kidneys, liver and heart with all the weight he's put on.  This is coming from someone who was once 200 lbs. at 10% body fat at only 5'7 who was on dialysis for 6 years.  Luckily, I did get my kidney transplant last year, but if I had to do it all over again, I would've never put on that much weight in the first place.

To make a claim like this is rude and just your opinion. It comes from someone who thinks they know everything, but doesn't know the facts!

I never claimed to know everything.  In fact, I'm a very open minded individual and love to learn especially when it pertains to bio mechanics and the science of exercise.  But I've worked with enough pro athletes to have a pretty good idea about athletes who might juice.  I did state that  I'm a fan of Bryson and I think PEDS are just fine in sports in general.  If you don't think he uses PEDS then that's ok too and I don't have a problem with it.  I should've stated my opinion in a more precise manner which is my bad.  I think Bryson is using PEDS, not that he's definitely on them.  I hope that clarifies things.

BD gained like 45 pounds in 9 months. That’s very doable considering it was mostly fat.

 

I mean, I knew guys who put that on first semester at college from beer and meal plan cheeseburgers ; )

 

Now, if he came back peeled and jacked with horseshoe triceps and capped side delts, that would make me take notice, lol

A good bit of what he gained was bloat and some fat.  Also, certain steroids and hgh cause fluid retention.  If I had to guess, out of the 45 pounds I would say that he gained 15 pounds of actual muscle.  You can see it especially in his back and chest as well as his quads.  IMO, it's the strength guys on the WLD and PGA tour gain through strength training that equates to extra yards off the tee, not so much the extra mass put on plus the activation of fast twitch fibers through speed training.  Long drivers of the ball come in all shapes and sizes.
