Agree on fantastic turf interaction. These PXG clubs seem to always take a perfect divot.

I forgot to mention in my review, turf interaction is awesome. Huge difference from the 0211’s. I am now taking a nice small divot. For some reason I was taking massive divots with the 0211’s. Much better now.

as others have mentioned, these are long for the size and loft.

Gen 2 combo came in.....hit 7i vs my 785 .....definitely saw a higher launch at same loft(weakened pxg) playing tomorrow so I'll have a better feel!

How did the feel, forgiveness and size compare?

Gen 2 0311T 7i head vs SRIXON Z785.. . The Z785 is ever so slightly larger BUT the hollow designed PXG has a thicker profile.....I only hit like 5 balls each and I'll play tomorrow......however I got comfortable quickly with the size of the PXG ; shafts are not the same.....elevate 95 R in pxg with experimental recoil 82g in SRIXON......I've seen a very easy launch from z785s over past few rounds but not much in the way of distance gained......consistency yes......the flight window on the pxg looks higher but further.....I'll know more after tomorrow!

Awesome. Thanks for the pictures. The black head kind of makes it look smaller. Look forward to hearing your review.

For those who switched from 0211s ... was performance significantly different with the Ts? If so, in what way?

I had the 0211’s for about 15 rounds maybe. Awesome irons with great feel and good spin. After demoing the new TM P770’s I knew I wanted a smaller iron... just not those.

I have only one round with these, but I am really happy I made the switch. The smaller head actually gives me more confidence over the ball. The bigger 0211 was definitely more forgiving, but I was looking for more accuracy. That’s what I got after one round. Turf interaction is WAY better than the 0211. Nice crisp divots now versus those monsters with the 0211’s. And they feel a little better too. 0211’s have amazing feel for a cast club, don’t expect a drastic difference between the two.

Gonna need more time with these...... ton of bad shots to start the round but did finish with decent irons on last few holes

They are definitely as forgiving from what I came from. Halfway through the round I was making better contact. They feel amazing and are very long when nutted.

What shaft are you in and what's your clubhead speed ?

I am not sure of my 7 iron speed, but I play my 7 iron for 165 here in AZ. I play Modus 120S. Was fit for those at PXG and confirmed again by PXG that those are the shafts for me.

Currently playing around an 8, but my first round with these I did have 4 birdies and should have had 5.

I have the 0211 and just received gen 2 p model with the steel fiber shaft and I like both sets.I feel I’m a little longer with the gen 2 and better shot dispersion but that  could be because of the steel fiber shaft where I had the stock graphite in the 0211s.

It took less that two weeks for the gen 2 to arrive in St.Louis which surprised me..

I could play either set without a problem but I wanted to spend my casino winnings on something I would use.

So you have mmt 80 in the 0211? What steelfibers you go with?

I normally use a regular shaft but I was told the steel fiber are stiffer than other shafts so they put me in a A shaft which feel like a regular. The upcharge was $49 a club and up charging on the grips which were $10 a club....I’m not fond of the PXG grips.

I got the 5 and 6 iron in the XF series and 7 thru W in the P series.

I have the 0211s for a gap wedge and use Cleveland sand and lob wedge.

Mine just shipped out this morning as well. I didn't get the wedges but I'd love to get your feedback on what you think of them. I have liked the Glide 3 wedges the last two years and recently moved to the SM8's and I've enjoyed those as well. I tend to like slightly higher bounce and the fewer options with the PXG wedges made me nervous to drop the coin on those as well after ordering the iron set.

I have been on a wedge blitz and since Jan. have had Miura, SM8, Honma, Cleveland FF, Cleveland Zip Core, 0211 AW-LW and really the best were not suprisingly the Muira for feel, the Cleveland FF for ease of use and the SM8 and Zip Core as the worst for me.  The 0211 were actually very nice but I hated the MMT 80 shafts in them.

The Honma's are still in the bag now until the PXG get the shake down ride.

Wedges are so personal and what works for one person is bad for another, I am going back to a heavier steel shaft in the PXG the Elevate Tour but they are putting 9 iron shafts in the wedges to improve the feel. The best shaft I have found for my game is the Paderson 125 wedge shaft in Stiff and depending how the Elevate work they could end up in the PXG.

Put the 0311T Gen 3 in play today and they are everything I was hoping for, better turf interaction than the 0211 imo and just felt fantastic. The Elevate 95 shaft is a very good fit for my game and I saw very good directional dispersion with distances as expected.

For me they are a bit longer than the 0211 were but that could just be a better fit with the Shafts over the MMT 80.

100% agree with better turf interaction than the 0211’s. Big difference for me and allowed me to make better strikes.

I used the same shafts in both the 0211’s and 0311T’s. For me they were around the same distance throughout the set. I did keep the 0211 4 iron though. Great club off the tee and into Par 5’s.

I went up to the 5 iron and then 7 /5/ /3 woods in the gen2, the 5 iron felt very good today the 3 times I hit it.

The forged wedges were very good with the heavier Elevate Tour shafts, great feel and touch was just as expected for a forged wedge.
