Does anyone know of any company making good slip on headcovers these days?

 

I really like the old Bettinardi headcovers with the neoprene part on the back. I think those are more secure than velcro or magnets.

I don’t recall coming across something like that when making the list. I’m with you on the Velcro, though, it frays and loses it’s grip

Bought Rose and Fire Flamingo for driver and hybrid. I am looking for a putter cover for a Toulon Las Vegas. Any suggestions?  Tried snagging a Swag April 1 as well as today to no avail.

That’s a fang, right? I played an Odyssey Seven for a bit and it seemed like a standard mallet might not fit it, but if that’s not the case I think that TBC might be one of the few options that gets close to the Swag level of flare. That or designing one with Daphne or one of the Instagram headcover makers.

I think for the members’ sake Iliac should be removed from this list. They’ve been an absolute nightmare to work with. I understand supply chain issues and what it’s like trying to operate a business in California during COVID... But they need to be honest with customers. I haven’t had problems like THIS with ANY other company in the last year. Even more frustrating when “Bert” is on Instagram constantly trying to claim Hideki as his.

Does anyone know of a company that makes faux fur head covers? AM&E used to but the golf shop I go through spoke with them and were told that they are no longer available. I have been communicating with Delila but she doesn’t have the color available I want in the style fur I’m looking for.  None of the links in this list seem to offer what I’m looking to buy.

Do you have a pic of what you’re looking for? I know a guy that sells mink but it’s pricey lol. Is it like the old ping barrel style?

@JOTA JOTAYes exactly like the old Ping head covers. She does the design/oven mitt shape, she offers the color I’m looking for (navy), but the fur she offers in navy is not like the fur from those pings. It is more like curly fur you would find on a poodle. She’s been great with communication and sending me pics of what she can do, unfortunately it isn’t what I’m looking for.

In that case I think Push Cut on instagram might be your best bet, if you can source the fabric yourself. He does lots of designs with jerseys or leather from customers

Good question. Their catalog suggests that they work directly with golf shops. I'd guess that they likely can make you something but they have minimum orders. What are you trying to have made?

I was asking for a quote on a driver and two hybrids in their waxed canvas. I’ll wait another day or so but I did just stumble upon an old thread about DIY head covers and might give that a whirl.
