Proquip out of business

Proquip's parent company recently went bust and I'm not sure what will happen to the brand now. Much of their stock is now extremely cheap with UK retailers.

I hope someone can snap up the company because they make excellent value gear

I did, too. Great service and the rain gear is the best I have ever used. Sad they are going out of business.

too bad, I had a bunch of their stuff. All was high quality and has lasted a long time. Sure hope they pop up again.

Like most European clothing, a bit smaller than the like size in USA. I often have been between L and XL here and I ordered the XL in their rain jacket and it fit perfect.

For anyone that has the Proquip rain pants- is the length of the pants in the newer models super long?  I had the PX1 in 31 inseam and it was way too long and I normally wear 32 inseam in most other pants/jeans.  Looking to get PX5 or PX7 and not sure about 29 inseam or 31.

early PX# pants that fit like snow boarding pants from the late 90's/ early 2000's, you could mop the floor with those.  The PX7 are slimmer(in a awesome way) and they got A LOT better with the inseam.. I would say its close to true now.

Oh man, I had exactly the OPPOSITE experience in the US. They're customer service was terrible for me. I had a non-rain jacket falling apart and they replied to the first email saying they'd replace it. Took MONTHS to actually get them to take care of it. This was a few years ago.

Yeah.  I had ordered a pair of the previous year's pants on clearance.  They couldn't fill the order and just sent me their newest model for the same price.

I’m sure your charming personality was overly cordial and they were simply awestruck to be able to work with you.
