Back to the spider too. Searching for anything. It’s so sad hope this guy has arguably more talent than anyone but can’t deliver.

Not shocking that the Spider X is back already IMO. Has been a mainstay since the start of 2019. The Super Stroke grip is very interesting though. Don't recall him ever using one at any point. Hope he starts to find his game again leading into the majors.

His putting is streaky and that's ok. Dude needs to get his wedges under control. If he could control his wedges, more often his win total will go up.

its the driver he needs fine tuning, he needs to get back into the fairways again ..

No. Not the spider again.  He’s never looked confident with that thing.    He should give something else a 2-3 month run. His very poor putting stats are all with spider x.  At some point you have to give up on the idea that forgiveness in a putter is paramount.

Right. Especially if it’s the tour one. It’s pretty small. Much smaller than most midsize grips.

Right. Especially if it’s the tour one. It’s pretty small. Much smaller than most midsize grips.  

Must just be looking for a feel change. Super strokes are very soft and if I remember correctly the pistol gt has a pretty distinct V edge on the underside of the grip.

Yep. 100 % to both.  Will definitely feel differently

Hmm.  Maybe so.  Definitely should be able to do that combo with the my spider program.  Unless I’m off base on that finish.

It’s the tour.. you can’t actually read the text on the grip but can tell its four letters and not two numbers.

I always wondered if Rory's putter choices were influenced by how he tends to strike the ball. He has always seemed to intentionally swing up and hit the ball out of the lower part of the face, which would seem to suit a really stable, high MOI putter as opposed to a more traditional blade.

Grip change in the putter/irons and finally pulls through!

 

The putter did the most this weekend though. Needs Rors to keep the flat stick working.

I have always wanted to know if pros use the counterweight in the grip. Read somewhere that Jordan and Dustin do not. I think Xander does.
