No Pars Streak

Played last week in 9 hole league and Saturday morning game. 

 

The first hole of the 9 hole league I made a par, and then didn't make another par for 20 holes. I then made 5 of them on the last 6 holes of Saturday's round. 

 

Prior to just starting playing golf I think this is my longest streak of holes with no pars.

 

I am a 8 ghin so not exactly a bad golfer and shot 80 as recent as two months ago from 6700 yds. 

 

Anybody have that beat.

During a 9-hole tournament in high school, my buddy who was our 5th seed (normally 85-90) shot Even par with three birdies, 1 eagle, and 5 bogeys. I got paired up with him that day as I was #2 seed. I didn't even realize he hadn't made a par until after the round. The next 18-hole tournament we had, he shot 79 for the first time, then proceeded to crap the bed for the rest of the year.

The dreaded "shutout"....

Been awhile but I remember not getting a par during a rd years ago.

Had 17 bogeys and a triple. Told myself that will never happen again.

It hasn't but I've had a few rds with just one or two on the card I know.

Don't know about most holes in a row, but I once shot a 70 (-2) with two pars on the day.

Probably about 17 holes

I once shot a bogey free round.  All doubles and triples, with a single par and birdie thrown in.

In rounds I've kept score I'm currently on a 17 hole par free streak. That's nothing new to me though, I'm a high handicapper so pars aren't very common.

Update, played 7 holes today and didn't get a true par (had a mullie par) so technically up to 24. Although I considered it a practice round, so maybe, I'm still at 17. 

 

All I know is, it's been awhile since I had a true par, and I'm not likely to get one next time out since it will be a new course for me.
