Golf Central just said Shanshan & Inbee are out.

Jenny Money has basically confirmed her retirement a while ago as we all know.

I wonder if Shanshan's loop...Mercer will find a new permanent bag.

For those who didn't know....Shanshan would never pull a club out of the bag...Mercer always did.

I'm kinda scratching my head at that.....I guess Inbee's still in S. Korea???

I guess a BIG pay cheque isn't that important to Inbee?...I think Brad might like 10% for a win.

I'm thinking Inbee is having a bit of an issue getting pregnant....I would have thought she'd have children by now.

Same with Gulbis???

I don't fully understand why winning the Olympics again was so important to Inbee.  She commented that the next one is probably too far out for her.  I think she put a lot into the last 18 months for the Olympics and my guess is we will see a lot less of her going forward.  Obviously, she could still be competitive when she plays if she puts in the time.  But she may have reached the point in life where "but why?" is the question.  I guess a handful more wins to catch Se Ri Pak is out there?  I don't think that changes the narrative around her much though.

Fassi has really turned it around and has stopped POSING.

Fell in love with her game at Augusta and really been pulling for her. Been bummed when she was just hacking it around and missing cuts. Seemed the sponsors went to her head and just stopped putting in the work to be a success on tour.

But after her knee surgery and whatever Stacy offered back at the Dow ... made a huge difference. She's been playing some good golf.

Anyway, we know what's gonna happen tomorrow. Lexi won't make anything outside of 3 feet and Nelly will card a 65 and walk away with it.

I'm a bit surprised Shanshan decided to retire...but when enough is enough...it's time to go.

I think she also misses the GREAT people of China and home sick.

I think she has a golf academy in China and I believe her dad is/was involved in a golf a**'n/federation in China.

I think Shanshan resided in DFW while in the US.

It's crazy how two chubby & non athletic looking women could be ELITE LPGA pros.

Both are confident golfers.

Feng's game is amazing.

She looks very unassuming as a golfer but would just shoots the light out on the course.

Guess you all forget what Shan Shan looked like when she started her professional career back in 2008/2009? Look it up. Here's a hint. Even today she is probably still in better shape than the usual cranky old male crowd in this LPGA sub-forum that likes to criticize everything about all LPGA players. One person in particular.

I do recall because of this photo from 2009 on her Wikipedia page, which has been there for years 😀

They just showed strokes gained off the tee. Not sure how they could calculate that because not enough stats are collected.

They've been collecting the data since the KPMG. 100+ players playing 13 tournaments have hit over 50,000 shots off the tee. More than enough to create a reference table.

Yeah, should be another fun Sunday. 63s and 64s are out there for the taking, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a 60 posted. That brings those at -9 into the mix potentially.

Nelly could have run away with this, though. So many good looks at birdie. Of course she's done that before this season, e.g. The Olympics, and then lit it up in the final round.

Lexi has to be the local favorite, though.

I have to imagine that last year's lockdown was a big factor. She was away from the game for a year, and probably said to herself, "This isn't so bad."

Really looking forward to the final round as most of those in the running are favorites.  While Christina K isn’t a favorite- my gosh she’s rolling putts from everywhere!  If Nelly had made half the putts CK did she would have this title sewn up already.  I’d like to see Jennifer K or Leona get her first win, but Leona would have to go crazy low and Jennifer would need to finish like she did at Augusta.

(KBong, I’m surprised you haven’t been gaga over CK’s knee socks. 🤣)

I believe there's a LPGA course setup committee....they are a bunch of JOKERS.

The gals can demolish a course at 6600+ yards at a 130+ slope.

They rarely, if not never, play the course at the listed yardage on lpga.com.

There are so many great courses....but many don't want to host a LPGA event...no real benefits to the club.

No doubt multiple reasons for not providing your club/course for an LPGA event esp a chunk of course availability for members during course set-up and event weeks.

One other reason maybe not wanting your course to look like a pitch and putt job after the LPGA ruins the course's reputation with the course 'set-up'.

No wonder the LPGA has never been able to work with Augusta National to establish a Women's Masters.

Leona's not out of it if her putter run's hot as it did on day 1 when she shot a 62 with 24 putts (vs 29 and 28 putts in rounds 2 & 3). An unlikely win with the talent in front of her on the leaderboard but you never know. She can certainly hole important putts.

Also she's hit 14/14 fairways in rounds 1 & 3 with a combined driving distance of 277 yards for all 3 rounds - WTH? Is there more run on the measured holes so many players are recording longer distances? Her season average is 255 yards.

Christina Kim and Wie are friends.

At the CWO at Vancouver Golf Club....Wie and her group are leaving the 7th green and walking to the 8th tee block.

I think it was later in the afternoon.

There were maybe 15-20 fans and about 3-4 marshals.

A golf cart with no canopy is coming towards us driving down the 8th hole with someone standing on the back.

As the cart gets closer....it's a volunteer driving ......with Christina standing on the back.....as he comes to a stop, I look at the guy and he rolls his eyes.🤣

It's quiet and all the fans are still...no movement...the marshals raised their hands with their quiet signs as Wie get ready to walk into her address to hit her drive.

A few seconds later....Christina raised her arms and yells:

"Quiet Please"

LMAO....how obnoxious....no one was moving and it was dead silent...the marshals had everything under control.

I knew better to say anything or jinx Su after her 64 on Friday...but I knew she would somehow falter...sure enough...73 yesterday...then she starts the day off today with a HIO on #12....another Lambo lease handed out...and then a birdie only to gag choke on her next 6 holes being +6 on those holes.

Su is very likeable...but it's hard to root for her when she lights it up...only to falter later.

I think Minjee lacks just a tad in the personality department.....I think she's a bit introverted...and being a world class pro she's been required to come out of her shell.

There's nothing wrong with being an introvert.

From what I've seen of Minjee at events...seems she would rather not bring any attention to herself...she seems very serious.

As per Mike Clayton....he's said Minwoo is the opposite of Minjee...more jovial.

Mike is a big mentor of Su.

It was so painful yesterday listening to Judy ramble on and pandering how everyone loves Christina Kim.

I don't think everyone likes Xtina....including some LPGA pros.

A Twitter dust up between Bam Bam and Xtina.

https://www.golfdigest.com/story/lincicome-christina-kim-in-twitter-feud

I think many of the LPGA Euro gals don't like Xtina....especially the ones that were on Solheim Cup teams in 2005, 2009 & 2011.

WTH is going on with the LPGA stats?

Before posting the above I reconfirmed Leona's driving stats that I had seen over the first 3 rounds, now they show her driving distance as 243 yards (no round 4 drives incl so far in rd 4) and have carved off 20+ yards from her previous rounds.

Oh well, just hurry up and win, will you.
