I'll take Streb FTW!  He's won twice here so why not.  He clearly likes the place.

They're going to have to tuck some of the pins in the second round or these guy will torch this course......

I wish but unfortunately not with the forecast for tomorrow. They are going to try and speed up play so you could see some low scores.

Hmm...

https://www.golfchannel.com/news/day-1-conditions-rsm-classic-bring-under-par-party-friday-looms-differently

But it seems as if the fun is over. It just wasn’t a perfectly warm day in November that led to Thursday’s scoring assault. Friday’s forecast calls for wind gusts to 30 mph and much colder conditions. Because of the two-course rotation, that means officials had to set both courses up for what was expected on Friday, not Thursday.

“I was talking to a couple rules officials yesterday and they kind of brought it up, when you've got two courses and you've basically got to play them the exact same and you've got a day where it's absolutely benign, the flags are just drooping, and then tomorrow the pins are going to be whipping, you've got to be set up for the pins whipping,” Johnson said......

Johnson knows that everything Sea Island gave on Thursday will easily be taken on Friday if the forecast is accurate. He’s played enough rounds on the Seaside to know that the conditions on Day 1 are the “anomaly” and both he and Stallings know what awaits.

Watched about 20 minutes last night…don’t feel like I missed much. Honestly, my indifference to watching is starting to become a concern.

Birdie fests are not entertaining.  I want to see guys play great shots and be rewarded.  Part of the "great" comes from difficulty.

And before anyone gets on the, "Well you can't go out there and do what they do even in those conditions."  No, no I can't.  I suck at golf and get to play maybe twice a month if I am lucky.  But I can watch it.

I like to see them reduced to tears, weeping in their carts, breaking clubs, swearing, drinking too much, genuinely worrying for their dogs when they get home later that night.

I want to see a tournament winner at +5 someday who shot all his rounds in the 70s and comes off the course like, "well even the worst day out here is better than the best day at work, amiright?"

Same here. I mentioned in the ''Cut the cord" thread a while back that Golf Channel coverage was the only reason I kept U-verse for so long. AT&T refused to renew my agreement with any sort of discounts even with using AT&T fiber internet and cell service (they're trying to phase out U-verse service and go to AT&T TV) so I told them to pound sand and shipped them back my 4 U-verse boxes + remotes. I don't watch much TV anyways and my majority of streaming is through YouTube and Plex, so it's been a win-win, I can catch the golf on weekends with my OTA.

A bag of left-handed junk.

Hulu has golf channel. That plus the Amazon golf "live" thing or whatever for $100 per year and there's plenty. Sirius has the PGA radio too.

There's also often free streaming on ABC and NBC sports apps.

I know I can do Hulu or Peacock, but I digress. I am merely agreeing with @MattyO1984 that, since cutting the cord and saving myself well over $100 a month, I am not exactly missing watching it. Like, at all. To the point I haven't pursued Hulu or Peacock or anything else. YMMV.

Yeah, they'll have to save the tucking of the pins for Saturday round.....in the interest of fairness.

You would have enjoyed watching Walter Hagen win the 1929 Open Championship at Muirfield, or the 1924 Championship at Hoylake.
