I was gonna write something about both last night but was too lazy.

Both go under the radar.

 

Both are some of the stronger Asian LPGA pros.

 

I like A Lim's FIST PUMPS after a birdie....and I like how she plays PX iron shafts and wears classic FJ saddleback golf shoes.

BUT...I think A Lim's weakness is her iron shot proximity to the hole....no.... I have not looked at any stats...but she really didn't have any close approach shots last night.

 

Parajee is good to root for.

@Rapidcat    Yep but I've just finished watching a live English football match for my team Chelsea and now an English football (women's) cup final is being played between Chelsea (featuring our Oz captain Sam Kerr) vs Man City women.

 

I hear or read that Ken Bates is leading a consortium to buy Chelsea!  😉🤣    . . .  aww, just kidding.  That guy along with Ridsdale should not be allowed within 100 meters of any football club, save the local pub team!

Lindy is a neighbour and friend of Lydia's.  They frequently play practice rounds together and on many of those occasions, Tina accompanies them . . . so it might seem odd at the outset but makes some sense when placed in context.

And here was Tina criticizing/questioning Brian Alexander (a scratch to + cap and past BC Sr. champ) if he was capable looping for Lydia.

Tina must be REALLY bored to accompany Lydia while she's out practicing.

We see parents here follow their kid golfing or to the range...but mostly because the kid is underaged.

 

I bet BJ is super bored nowadays....I think Tina and BJ should hook up and make a LUV Child to keep them busy on a new project.🤣

Exactly. 😂       I've watched videos that Lydia and Lindy have recorded of their practice rounds at Lake Nona and one can hear Tina making suggestions on clubbing, wind direction, whether putts are makeable for birdies, etc.  and it provided a little insight into the parent-child/player relationship.   Lydia would wave off her mother regularly (politely of course).  In one case, there was a long birdie putt, well over 20 feet, and Tina was suggesting that Lydia should make the putt for birdie to which Lydia would politely say that the goal here is to just get it close.  Going in is extra!  🤣

Since seeing Aza on TV early in the 2010 LPGA season...I have ALWAY been an Aza fanboy...such a nice lady and approachable.

Aza made a great speech as the 2010 ROY winner at the Rolex Awards dinner...the video might still be on YT.

Tim used to be Sandra LEGS Gal's loop...I think they might have also had more than a professional relationship too???

At the 2012 CN CWO....I remember Tim looping for Sandra in the morning and then he'd watch Aza play in the PM wave.

From my encounter and observations....Tim is a bit reserved and shy...like Aza.

 

Here's my Tin Foil Hat theory...but I think it has merit.

I'm guessing Aza and Tim got to know each other at the 2011 Solheim....the Euros won...so everyone was in a HAPPY and LUVing spirit. 🤣

Most premier privates limit the amount of times that a guest is allowed to play the course on an annual basis.

Classic Tiger Parent behavior...I see it so often when I'm out practicing.

Parents who don't play golf and without the knowledge giving their kids advice on the range. chipping area and practice green

I don't know why they don't take up the game and play golf with their child.

 

At Swaneset...there was a Korean dad berating and yelling at his kid....you could tell the kid was getting frustrated.

It got to the point that I walked over and suggested to the dad rather than tell his kid what to do... to show the kid how to execute and hit some shots and SHOW HIM what to do.

Yup, you guessed it...the dad cowered back and when to sit down with a stupid smile on his face....no more chirping from the dad.

 

At Burnaby...my friend ....and it was also confirmed by an employee too... that a Chinese dad who was always yelling at his kid at the range...it got to the point that it got abusive and the police were called in to remove/escort the dad off the property and he was banned from returning to the course. 

I can't imagine the nonsense the kid must endure from the dad at home.

 

I don't believe Tina plays golf nor knows how to play golf with any competence.

I've seen a video of dad playing golf with Lydia but not sure of his golf knowledge or abilities.

Don't know.  It was just a few Instagram Stories that were recorded and posted of their practicing together at Lake Nona . . . this was back in 2020 during the covid haitus.
