We’ve been saying that about the paint they use on their putters for years, yet no matter how much I baby them every Taylormade putter I’ve had has chipped to death. Considering I only swing at 95-100mph I’ve also had a cracked m3 and m5.

My concern would be how well the carbon face adheres to the head since, I assume its epoxied on, thus can't be welded.  Time will tell.  Also didn't Wilson make a driver many years ago (The Whale) that was entirely carbon fiber?  How did that hold up?

I agree all three of my spiders have chips, never had a TM cracked Ti face but scene too many on wax than I can count, I agree all bad and not a good look for the brand at all. Im just not willing to join the carbon wood age until its gone a cycle or two thats all I am saying...or maybe never

Anyone have marks like that? I assume it's from the hard plastic tees that I normally use. It's smooth if you run your finger over it but it definitely looks like it's bubbling maybe

Looks like the start of delaminating to me…. No thanks on carbonwoods for me.

I have not noticed any performance or sound changes.  It's weird that only 2 drivers have had this issue.  My fitter is showing it to his rep.  The tee idea you came up with sounds plausible.

I have the exact same problem. Had driver for 5 weeks. Face came loose exactly as in the picture. That is a big concern. I haven't even practice so much as i would normally. This is mostly just from playing golf rounds.

I'm starting to get the same mark a little bit higher than yours heel side.  I highly doubt TM will replace mine though since it's about the same size as yours.  Have you asked for a replacement yet?  If so, how did it go?

i haven't yet. It hasn't gotten worse and even though it looks like a bubble, it's smooth when you run your hand over it

Same here.  It's not affecting performance either.  I'm just hoping the bubble doesn't get much bigger.  It's gotta last until the Stealth 2.0 or whatever comes out, haha.  🤣

I have worse marks on mine. Mine came from a hard plastic tee as well. I shown the face to a TaylorMade rep that was at our club.
 

The rep said that the marks are purely superficial and that there was no structural damage. TaylorMade is aware of the issue though. He said they had seen no failures from these marks. 
 

Still you pay this much for a driver, you expect better durability as far as maintaining it’s looks.

Our 10.5 demo head got worked in like 5 weeks. It was on the regular Ventus but none the less. That being said our 8degree and 9's get hit ALOT and they're still good.

I’m loving my Stealth Plus but also seeing the same issue from tee impacts. And a tiny bubble starting to show up in the circled area.

So I love my stealth plus, but these posts worry me a little. Im hoping mine makes it to at least next year. That way if I have to send it in I’ll get the stealth 2, which hopefully they will have fixed the problem.

Well, it’s an obvious issue that I’m sure TM will stand behind. Keep hitting it and when it’s starts to delaminate you’ll probably get a brand new Stealth 2.0….
