I didn’t see any listed on CPO this morning. Do you have a link?

Here: https://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/iron-sets/irons-2021-apex-tcb.html?cgid=iron-sets

The set makeups say unknown for some reason but when you add them to the cart it says what it is under the specs.

certainly a great deal!!! But will be patient to see what the new TCBs are like lol.

Im pretty sure the apex line is on a two-year cycle, like what they do with the epic.

The name for their woods is paradym, I expect there to be a similar line for their irons this cycle

Can confirm. Chatting with several reps and all say no new tcbs. Too many pros are in them right now and working strong still.

I made the switch to TCB’s recently and couldn’t be happier. I’d be lying if I said they weren't a tad less “forgiving” than the ZX7’s I had previously, speaking only in terms of the feel of miss-hit shots as the distance loss appears to be about the same. I have re-shafted them since I purchased them and decided to install wooden dowels in the shafts after reading a few interesting posts on this forum. Again, I couldn’t be happier with these irons. The more compact look and very solid feel appeal to me more than the Srixon’s. I can respect someone who’s on the fence waiting on a new release…all I can say is I am glad I’m not!

Does anyone know if the KBS Tour $-Taper listed on Callaways website is a different shaft than what the plain $-Taper goes by?

Thinking of doing a TCB PW since I can at least customize the shaft options still. Got into the X Forged CB too late and that's half impossible now haha.

Callaway Mavrik 9* Kai'li White 70X

Cobra King LTDx LS 17.5* 5 Wood Motore F1 X-Stiff

Callaway Paradym 18* Hybrid HZRDUS Gen 4 Silver

Callaway X Forged CB 5-9 KBS $-Taper Stiff 120g

Jaws Raw 46* S, Vokey 50* F, Vokey 56* D

Odyssey White Hot OG 2 Ball Stroke Lab

I have my TCB shafted in $-Taper 120 from callaway…… they are the standard $-Taper shafts…. No different …… is that what you are asking?

Yes, for some reason on the website their stock image just looks different than the shaft band on my current $-Tapers so I was thrown there for a moment.

I have a set of TCB's that have had a love/hate relationship with this past year. When I have my A+ stuff, I can make them look like the right iron for me. However, when I have a days when I'm swinging like a guy with a wife, three kids, and three jobs they quickly show themselves to not be the best solution for me. It's not like the misses are massive, but they're enough to put excessive pressure on my short game. Game becomes more stressful and less fun, for no good reason at all.

I've made the mistake (and I'd assert that many other WRX'ers do the same) of setting up my bag to suit the very best version of myself, which does show up on course sometimes but not nearly as often as the "Dad Golf" version of me does. Irons like Rogue ST Pro will still work just fine when I have my best stuff, but they'll also help me scrape it around much more effectively when I'm not as sharp. The same cannot be said for TCB, but that's not their fault because they're designed for higher level, more consistent ball strikers than my goofy butt.

I've recently had to ask myself, "What's more fun? Playing the Rahmbo/Xander/Burns iron, or hitting shots and posting scores more like them more often?" When put that way, the answer becomes bleeding obvious as does the way ahead.

Rogue ST Pro irons will be in my bag imminently with weakened lofts to temper the spice level.

Good post.  I am a 60 something player whose prime is long gone.  I went to TCB’s from s55’s and I am very happy with them.  It took me forever to abandon blades for cavity backs, but once I changed, I never went back.  My last three sets of Irons, 716 CB, S55 and TCB all are about the same lofts & size, so transition was easy.  When my game is off, I am sure my score suffers but I really have never even tried anything larger than these except the j40 CB.  I guess I cannot miss the forgiveness I never had.

I guess I enjoy self delusion more than lower scores.

Anyone experiencing a longer than normal wait time on a set of TCBs right now? Ordered mine in Jan and haven't heard anything from Callaway on when to expect their arrival. Anxious to put them in play.

Might be late May before you see them; sorry.
