I was told that TM says you can create what you need with the 15* head and the sliding weight.

Want 13.5...loft it down. Too much fade at that loft, move weight back.

Want 16.5..loft up. Too much draw at that loft, move weight forward.

I get the concept they're running with. But they're banking on people understanding shaft deflection.  Will be interesting to see how their concept plays out. 50g is a lot of weight to move around...we'll see

Here's the Link to the GolfWRX launch report:

https://www.golfwrx.com/702030/golfwrx-launch-report-2023-taylormade-stealth-2-drivers/

The good news = the MyStealth2 customisation program = allows us to order a satin (matte?) crown (if desired).

If you click the main GolfWRX homepage ... Do you see the Taylormade Stealth2 launch report as a Featured article on the main homepage?

Somehow, i'm only seeing older articles on the main GolfWRX homepage (see screenshot)... and had to google to find today's Stealth2 launch report!

image.png.6bb9313ce9d05d7c713129beb73c96f7.png

MyStealth 2

Continuing its “My” customization options, the MyStealth 2 program to allow golfers to have advanced personalization options.

  • Face color: Red, Black, Yellow, Blue, Light Blue, Bright Green, Pink, Orange, Purple
  • Ring color: Red, Black, Gold, Silver, White, Charcoal
  • Crown finish: Gloss or Satin(!!)
  • Top line: Black or White
  • Sightline: Logo or No Logo
  • Weight colors: Black or Chrome
  • Custom MyStealth 2 headcover

MSRP of $729.99. Stealth 2 Plus model in 9 and 10.5 degrees.

Both RH and LH.

Preorder for MyStealth 2 begins January 10 at TaylorMadeGolf.com. Available at select retailers starting February 17.

Exactly the same for me, the standard WRX homepage just shows me all the older posts and hardly ever shows new posts. It's probably the worst I have ever seen the homepage on here, at times it feels like it hasn't been updated for days on end. Like yourself I have had to google search for some posts that I have seen via Instagram, some articles don't show under any of the tabs! An overhaul needed I think.

If that is what TM says then WHY DO THEY MAKE A ROCKET STEALTH 2?

Almost every review is negative, even TXG was trying to cover up the erratic ball flights off the face. In Rick Shields review I thought maybe it was the poor selection of shafts Taylormade has gone with! But Matt’s swing with TXG is more consistent and he didnot see that type of ball flight out of the callaway line up. Time will tell but right now I’m not dropping 900 plus dollars for an upgrade shaft to make this head work!

I noticed the same theme on some of these reviews.   Interesting...will look for more real world user feedback.

Is the stock shaft good in the stealth 2+ fairway wood? I debated on upgrading to the Graphite Design IZ 7 since I play the IZ 6 in my stealth driver. Would that be a noticeable upgrade?

Nobody could know that except for you and a launch monitor

Haven’t watched RS’s video yet but matt seemed to hit the non plus model very well. He had an average of 170 ball speed which is higher than the other 2023 models if I’m remembering correctly.

Hard to draw conclusions on things like ball speed of one vs the other unless they can verify it was same day etc.... TXG usually does a great job of the side-by-side comparisons, so I'll probably wait for those. Even then, it's going to vary person to person.

Pretty sure his stock swing is always around 170mph ball speed.

Pete Finch has a great thing going right now. He has a slew of Fujikura TR Black shafts specifically to test all 2023 drivers on an even playing field. Stealth already is mid to low end of the pack and the Paradym is way out in front.

That is a cool idea by finch.  Hard to argue against the callaway for him. Love that he compiled it in such an easy to read chart with the same shaft.

Love txg but Matt confuses me. It’s like he doesn’t want to be a bomber even tho he could be. The auto flex but more so the vanquish reviews are interesting because he gets so much added distance but seems to want to play a slower shorter driver. I understand he’s looking for something to take to the course, but it seems like he has a lot more potential and likes being solid not extra.

Ian said himself in the TXG review 'dont like to see all this grey space' when looking at Matt's ball flight and dispersion image charts with the drivers, but quickly changed subject.

Jeez, his contact on some of those drives must have been booty cheeks to get ball speeds in the 160's with 120mph swing speed.

That's because, if you watch yhe reviews the last couple days that are not at the txg studios, Matt IS NOT a straight hitter. This is why I've chided them about selective shot removal for driver reviews. They cherry pick good strikes. Watch the shot counter in txg videos. Matt hits some WILD draws a lot. It's why I said he wouldn't be in the winner of the driver bracket a couple years ago because half his drives weren't in a 50y wide fairway.  Sure enough, less than 2 months into gaming the bracket winner, he swapped into a forgiving setup because he couldn't keep "freaky deeky mavreeky" on the planet.

He's good for how a driver can perform on good strikes. But they miss the ball on showing how bad strikes are punished or not.

He also took some time away.  When CC bought TXG, Matt left.  If I remember right, he really didn't play.  His speed and consistency both went down in that extended break.  So, it's not the same Matty that we had been watching a couple years ago.

Yep. But even prior to the club Champion boondoggle, he wasn't the machine their videos portray him to be. Every now and then you'd see a shot tracer they left on the ballflight snippet and you'd see a ball that started going left 100 yards after contact and it ended up in Saskatchewan
