Q Star Tour is another level of softness. Almost balata like, if you've ever played them.

I have played the Maxfli Tour and the Q Star Tour.  Both are great balls but the Q Star is starting to grow on me because of the softness of old school balata with the durability and spin characteristics of Urethane.

Titleist 990 (3-PW) with stock Dynamic Gold in S300

"Loft for loft, length for length, and shaft for shaft, the ball will go the same distance when hit on the sweet spot regardless how old the iron."

I have played many balata balls. And even though I like a tad softer Ball, I'm just afraid the QST will be to Marshmallow like to me. That's why I think the Maxfli Tour and the Snell black will fit me better. I've played these in the X model which I will finish out my stash of them. But I'm down to the reg mtb black and the Maxfli tour as the ball or 2 balls I will settle on. I've done so much ball testing over last couple years I'm tired of testing. I'm ready to settle on pretty much one ball only and that will likely be the Maxfli Tour

I don’t doubt what people are saying about the factory that max fli and Vice are made at.  However, the Max fli have proven much more durable for me.  I played the Vice pro plus quite a bit and really enjoyed the performance but they just didn’t last for me.  The max fli tour x perform identically (I know why now) but have been more durable for me.  I typethis knowing that people will say I’m crazy and they are the same, but I’ve played both balls enough that I think it is worth mentioning.

Foremost introduced a new cast thermoset urethane cover formulation in 2020 that is being used on all of the Vice and Maxfli urethane models (although the Pro Plus does have a different dimple pattern than the others so there is a possibility that there could be a slight difference in thickness). Foremost’s previous cover was definitely less durable so if your experience was with the prior version this would not be surprising.

Are these 3 brand balls Close to each other or does one have the Advantage over the other? I've really only played the MTB X  and Maxfli tour X a couple times. Those were too firm for me. I'm trying to pick a permanent ball out of these 3. I drive the ball well so off Driver doesn't really matter, But I do like performance around the greens and 100yds in.

Here’s the robotic test results.

Thanks, yes I think looking at this Chart I made the Right choice by ordering some Maxfli Tours. Price doesn't really matter as or as getting them online, I've noticed all 3 brands time you pay shipping comes out to basically same price actually the Snells are the highest due to only being able to get 2 over the other deal of 5. So I think all the way around price durability and performance the Maxfli Tour cannot be beat

I've never paid for shipping for Maxfli Tours, as long as you buy 4 dozen or more I think.

That may be true but you can't get the yellow in the 4dz. And if you buy 4 single dozen then you gonna pay more anyway which would be the amount of shipping or more

Well in this Case then that narrows my ball down to one of the 2 MTB Black and the Maxfli Tour. I have played both these in the X model which is a little too firm for my Liking. So it's just a matter of which of these I want to make my permanent ball. I have thought about trying the Q star tour but not sure it would be much different than these other 2.

I play the QST and Maxfli Tour interchangeably depending on price and have noticed no difference in performance or feel.  Both fit my spin window (although not trackman verified, purely on the course).  Feel off irons and putter are the same in my opinion.  I can sometimes catch the QSTs on a 2 for 1 sale, otherwise the Maxfli Tour are 2 for $60 US.

But 4 "Single dozen" ( only way you can get the yellow) at 2 for 60 gonna cost you 120 whereas the 4dz pack is only 104. What good is free shipping in the case of buying singles?
