2023 Nike Golf Clothing general thread

Annual thread time! Still no link to a catalog, although some are stating that they have seen some of the lineup for themselves. An interesting note regarding an increased presence for the Jordan line however…

 

 

Once a catalog is posted, it will be linked on the page. In the meantime, I will post any news that can be gathered otherwise.

Really haven't liked the fit, material or style of nike's polo shirts the past couple of years.  Wouldn't mind if they shook it up.

 

At this point I've been paying more to get Adidas and travismathew instead.

Agreed! The blade collars are great in the miserable heat of DC.

 

Interested to see the Jordan line. I am a homer for TW and Jordan

but have to imagine the Jordan line is going to destroy the TW line in sales.

They have done this before with the swoosh.  I have a Nike Golf shirt that I believe is 8+ years old and it has a swoosh in a similar location.  Only one I've seen like it until the appearance of the shirt highlighted above, however.

Yes they have done it before. It was called their Tour Premium line and it was only in special, select accounts.  I have 9 of their shirts still and the swoosh is on the back right shoulder like the previous pic shows.

Pretty sick collection of the old Nike shorts with the swoosh on the upper right shoulder!

 

I also remember a few years back when the swoosh on the front got pushed to a higher spot on the left chest to make sure we saw it when players got interviewed (at least that is what we thought on one of the old Nike threads here).

 

Nike just needs to release the tour issued shirts with the swoosh on the chest and on the back of the neck etc. We just want the pros wear. Formula is pretty simple.

I have switched to buying Greyson polos over Nike. Nike has slowly been making it's way to the back of my closet as more Greyson makes its way in. That being said, I do like the TW Dri-Fit ADV polos. I bought 3 or 4 of them when they went on sale. I'm a fan of the patterned weave, and the snaps on the placket. Overall, it keeps me fairly cool when it gets "hot" and humid during the summer. (Hot is in quotes because I live in Seattle... so it never actually gets hot comparably to other places.)

AHHH, fitting profile pic for tonight's game.  Hope seattle gives them a run for their money.  

 

I haven't tried greyson, they seem a little wide.  I like fitted.  Also don't like paying over $20-25 since I'm just going to sweat through it in about 7-10 weekend rounds during the summer.  As crazy as that price range seems I find quality nike, adidas, travismathew, etc for that or under quite frequently.

Ha. We are a long ways from the LOB. Our defense couldnt stop a team of peewee players running the ball. I'm expecting to get totally trounced.

 

I dont pay full price for Greyson. I only peruse their sale site, and ebay. LOL. Even then, I agree that it can get pricey if you are in the $20-25 range normally. For my body shape, Greyson fits well.

Not a fan of the swoosh on the back.  Bought my first premium nike polo in awhile last year and it was the TW ADV.  I liked the print and looked as though it would be super comfortable but it was absolute trash.  I don't know if it was the sustainable materials they said it was made with or what but it was not as stretchy as expected, the seams were weird, and overall felt like a knock off budget polo.  I returned it promptly.  Intrigued by jordan line as I love the golf shoes.  A couple of solid color polo's and a good fitting jordan golf hat would be cool.

do you notice a significate jump in quality from greyson or is it primarily paying for the name?  

 

I definitely think seattle has a chance with Mr irrelevant starting at qb for 49ers.

I actually like the Nike shirts with the small subtle or hidden swooshes etc. I don't want the tour ones covered in swooshes, I don't feel the need to be telling everyone I am wearing a Nike shirt.

The quality has been lacking recently in my opinion. Hopefully there are some big changes coming! I had some great shirts from '16-18 that were a great material. Also just ordered those new white Infinity React 2's. Such a comfortable shoe.
