This dudes a monster in the SoCal PGA professional scene. Always seems to be winning in a highly competitive section and a factor at the PGA professional championship. He also has a couple kids that are showing a lot of promise.

My son used to take lessons from Block.  The guy has game still.

 

Oh and his son Dylan only hits it about 350 off the tee.  🤢

He did a WITB on his IG page and mentioned that it was either TM or Nike that gave it to him as a gift... he's also sponsored by Nike and rocks Jordans.

Thanks for the info Greg! I do have a question about the P7MC…why is the fitting club for it a larger head and profile than the actual iron itself?! Demo’d the new irons and straight away noticed the demo 7 iron of the P7MC was larger than that of the actual iron, the sole is thicker and topline/blade length looked larger (from the eye at least). Seemed odd to demo a club that isn’t the same as the actual club you would get!

I love how he's wearing through the number on his iron. This level of player by someone who isnt a fulltime playing professional is unheard of where I'm from, so I'm kind of curious how much someone like mr Block actualy plays while also having a job (I understand his job is teaching golf but most teachers I know barely get to play).

Completely agree, I used to love WITB but when I open them and see just all Callaway or Ping or something I click out. At least with Titleist I see some whacky putters or wedge designs. Usually you can just expect the newest stuff but this bag has some serious character and this dude is insanely good

Those ‘14 TM Tour Preferred MC’s are awesome irons, and every club looks carefully thought out and fully dialed in!

 

And that Jordan headcover with the laces…oooof, I’m in love!! 😍😍😍

 

I had a combo set of Tour Preferred MC/MB and every time I see someone gaming them it makes me want to pull the trigger on a new set…so freaking good!!

When you are playing at this level,  your real job is playing golf and teaching is the side money.  Even though these type of guys are not making millions they can still make a pretty good living 100K plus playing in section events, pro ams, and other smaller level tour events. I would bet that he only teaches 5 hours a week and plays/practices the rest of the time.  I could be wrong on his teaching time but this is usually what happens.
