Speaking of bold fashion moves and visors, I don't know if anyone is watching the US Senior Women's Open, but Leta Lindley is wearing an oversized visor.  It's not quite ajumma-like, but I think the only time I've seen a pro wearing one was Jin Young Ko in one of her Youtube videos.

... Just finished. I know you old guys like to oogle* the women so I didn't open my laptop til I finished watchin'. I was pullin' hard for one of my girls, R Yin because Grant and Korda didn't show up this week.

... You see those huge visors in some Asian events and the women caddies wear them. Sorta defeats the purpose of maximum sun cover don't it?  Visors are all I wore til I found out about sun damage and switched to baseball hats. Then about 10 years ago heard about more sun damage being worse than we thought and I switched to wide brimmed hats.

That would be tough. I would think dogs are worse than cats when a person leaves for a while. Cats will just sleep until you get back.😄

First recollection of a Futureliner was the one sold at Barrett-Jackson some number of years back.  Think it was the last lot of the auction.  With search help, was bought by Ron Pratt.  Evidently he sold it at B-J in 2015 with all proceeds going to the Armed Forces Foundation.

It sucks. One of my best friends of like 20 years is kind enough to stay with them while I'm gone.

GM once had most of their archives and historical vehicle collection scattered across several warehouses around the country.  In 2004, they consolidated most to a nondescript central location in Sterling Heights, MI.  The GM Heritage Center.  

 

Was working part-time doing some digital media training for a company that supplied the systems to GM.   One of the sites was the Heritage Center.  In the afternoon, after completion on the last day, asked if it was OK to go check out the back.  No problem.  Was the only one in there (other than a couple employees doing something way back).  Spectacular was an understatement.  Wandering around the facility all by my lonesome, looking at all these rare and historical vehicles.  Was in there until they were close to closing.  As it's not open to the public, an extraordinarily rare opportunity.  

 

I was standing right next to Harley Earl's Y-Job.  Looked over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching, and reached out and touched it with my finger tip.  LOL.  A pic from inside the Center, although the Y was not on the display platform that day. 

 

 

They are moving the facility to another located in Grand Blanc, MI which is relative close by.  Don't know what the status is, or if it's going to be open to the public.  Some additional information (with pics) for anyone the least bit interested:

Good Monday morning Loungers!  I wish I had an awesome story to tell about charging up the leaderboard on Day 2 of our Club Championship.  My 80 on Saturday placed me in the middle of A flight and 3 strokes out of the lead.  Saturday I had a scratchy throat and a runny nose and by the evening, I had a full-blown sinus infection.  I was up most of the night and felt terrible Sunday morning.  My wife suggested I sit out the final round but my blind ambition wouldn't allow it.  I started my round with 2 pars and then headed to the par 3 #3 hole with water on the left and OB on the right.  The wind was left to right so I tried to hit a draw against the wind.  The old double-cross occurred and the ball got up in the wind and was OB by about 6 inches.  I wound up taking a six and moved on to the par 4 #4 hole.  A good drive left me in the middle of the fairway, 151 yards from the pin.  Once again, I try to hit a draw against the wind and hooked the ball in a hazard on the left.  Double bogey ensued so I had just dropped 5 shots in 2 holes.  At this point I was thinking I should have listened to my wife and stayed at home.  I basically went through the motions the rest of the round and limped in with an 85.  I am disappointed in my performance, especially after practicing hard for the tournament, but as we all know, golf is a difficult game and we have good days and bad days.
