As for my back, I’m not going to consider surgery as an option. I think I will continue with the shots and if every 6 months I need to do again so be it.  My doctor also doesn’t recommend surgery and quite frankly nobody ever seems to have just 1. I have had enough surgeries in my life.  My wife had and she still gets injections and probably needs another, so looking at her makes me rule that option out.  Between working out to lose weight and strengthen and trying to improve flexibility I can probably learn to live with it or not compromise my ability to live and do what I want to do.

Finding the right stretching regiment has been huge for me. I rarely skip a day.

But I remember a birthday party when I was little, like 10 of us, we sat in the bleachers. I was sitting all the way to the right, next to this chain link fence that separated the bleached seats from this big section of seats that were painted black that was never open for seating. Reggie steps up!

He hit a ball that looked like it went straight up into the stratosphere. But…it kept drifting and rising towards us! It finally started to descend and fall right over us and juuuuust fell over that link fence into the black painted seats, HR! Very rare to hit it there.
But I’ll never forget as the ball fell, you could hear it sizzling like frying eggs! Had never heard like that sound off  a baseball before.

for a number of years i followed a program called "romwod" (range of motion workout of the day).  i believe they've changed names and are now known as "pliability"

 

it's not really yoga, but it's a bit more than stretching.  it occupies a space somewhere in between.  basically, you're holding standard stretching poses for extended periods and allowing your body to open up naturally.  and it's guided, kind of like a yoga class.

 

just throwing it out there in case someone wants the benefits of yoga/stretching without the big time commitment of going to a class.

... Grips might be the most personal equipment we play. I don't use a glove and my grip is an extremely important piece of equipment. I used Tour Velvet for many years and like Freddie, I would run a wet towel over them and then dry them after every shot keeping them tacky. When the 3Gen REL came out I started using them as thy kept their tack a little longer and I only needed to wipe them down after every other shot or so. Then the UTx which were almost too tacky but still needed a wipe several times during a round. But now I play the Lamkin ST+2 Hybrid Forged grips that aren't "tacky" but non slip and I only wipe them down after a round and that is only to keep the oils from my hands hardening the grip. I really like the +2 as I don't need an extra couple layers under my bottom hand.

So it sounds like it’s a tradition for Yankees fans to dump beers on the opposing teams fans… Nice. I was so pissed after I saw this video. Wanted to smash this Yanks fan. Total drunk clown. I know they will also throw beer cans at the opposing teams relievers in the bullpen and outfielders while they are in the field of play… Keep it trashy NY! 😝

Even the man’s grips are FORGED!!! 
Every time I’ve attempted to forge my grips they have melted 😞

No, in the vid you posted the opposing fan was just enjoying the game and it’s totally unwarranted and unacceptable to to that!

 

In the case I mentioned, you had 4 dudes who looked like college football lineman come walking in to the bleachers and start jawing with the fans. 

Their attitude was, “yeah? Go ahead and try something”

 

So, the first beer came. Then another then everybody was basically like, “get your mangy Boston @a**” outta here! 
 

 

So…they left 🤣

Ya that’s totally wrong. Freakin total decay in standards of behavior in society. The thing is, it’s unfair to families who want to bring their kids to games and can’t afford to spend $1000 and sit by the field where security is much more rigorous.

... I think if they didn't have that zebra striped cavity, they would be one of TM's best selling irons.. Solid head with no foam in the pw-8 iron is ideal.

Some of us welcome the foam in all the irons in our set as it helps with distance and feel. We are all not scratch like you chisag.  😅

Well I was counting on three straight days of golf but Mother Nature didn't cooperate. It has been raining today in the AVL since daybreak. I shall look on the bright side as it will allow me to hang out in the Lounge some this afternoon and early evening.

You pull out Wiig and Sudeikis and fail to note perhaps the most famous recording star on the planet playing the teenager.  The same woman who brought TicketMaster to the congressional stage after they amazingly approved the merger of TM and Live Nation.  On a side note, I am no swifty, but I do enjoy a reason to go to Vegas so when the fam goes to TayTay I will be right there with them.

... True dat. They key to any iron technology imo is multiple offerings to cover all players. Nelly got around the foam in the new P770's with 4-6 and going 7MC in her 7-pw. You could go all P770's and even a P770 in 8-pw and 7-4 in P790's and of course all P790's. So many options to custom fit a scratch to 18 index. (Although not sure about feel as the non foamed P760 8-pw feel much better than the foam filled 7-4 irons).

Too funny. Many years ago, when my daughter was around 12 or 13, she wanted me to take her and a friend to a Britney Spears concert. I had no idea who Britney was at the time. We got to the venue and I noticed how many dads were there with their daughters. I thought that maybe I had been a bad dad because this was the 1st time I had taken my daughter to a show (without the rest of the family). Then Britney came out and I realized what was going on….
