Little frustrating seeing all these orders shipped so quickly.  I ordered mine 7/17 hard stepped at D4 swing weight, which was apparently a bad choice.  Still waiting on them to ship.

Yeah I feel you. Did my fitting on 7/25 and placed the order on 7/26. Apparently, the PX LS shafts we settled on are backordered until the beginning of Sept. A little frustrating to say the least!

I did mine at a Team Titleist fitting at a course. The fitter had bags and bags of ProV1s, ProV1Xs, and maybe AVX. Not sure about the AVX since I only hit the ProV1s and saw the bag of Xs. The only time I hit range balls was warming up waiting for him to finish with the previous client.

where was that?

About me: 3-5 handicap, playing a couple times a month right now but will be joining somewhere in the next year or two since moving south. 97-99mph 7 iron, low 130’s ball speed. Looking for a little help but also want precision at the bottom of the bag. What does everyone think of this setup?

currently in p770 2020 version and looking for better turf interaction. Please no 150/200 combo, the only 200 I’d put in the bag would be a 3iron utility build.

4 21° T150 (1° strong) , semi driving iron on long courses and don’t mind the gap between 4 and 5

5 25° T150

6 29° T150 (1° weak)

7 33° T150 (1° weak)

8 37° T100 (1° strong)

9 41° T100 (1° strong)

PW 45° T100 (1° strong)

I currently have the utility build 4 iron, but the new utility builds are lofted to match in really with the t100. If you went 3 utility you would overlap with your 4 iron. Personally I like the semi diving iron idea you have but I found the stock t200 in steel to match irons gives you exactly that, more powerful flight and easier to drive it low.

‘’otherwise I’m looking at similar set to you, but leaving the 6 and 7 as standard lofts and then the t100 8 2 strong and the 9 1 strong, then I go PW and Gap wedge. The gap wedge is my favourite club in the bag.

I went from p770 to 620cb to t100, the jump to the new t100 is a big one from p770 imo, I’d be tempted to move the join up a club or 2.

Fitted today. Gaming i230’s. Spun the Titleist too much. Ended up keeping the i230’s but with a shaft change.

Got fit and ordered 8/3. Just got a shipping update that my SM9 wedges shipped, but my T150’s have been pushed to mid October estimated ship date. A bit frustrated could be the PX LS 6.5 shafts.

Are the estimates accurate? Or are people finding their order ships a lot sooner than the target date?

Ordered my T150 / T200 combo set on 8/3 directly on Titleist website. Received yesterday 8/8…. Wow, that was fast, thank you Titleist. Played first round today. Biggest takeaway was the T200 4 iron…. Wow, the T200 4 iron is a rocket.  Coming from P790… will take a little getting used to. Very impressed so far, beautiful quality & craftsmanship on these clubs.

I hit the T200s today and that was my takeaway. Easy to hit high and carry forever, I have the current utility build 3 iron so I’m looking at potentially upgrading.

So I tested the T350s, T200s, and T150s, and couldn't pick between them, I was hitting all 3 very consistently, and hitting the same distances with all 3 for the most part. A rare case perhaps? But the 350s had only a little more distance, and I could hit all 3 equally well. Changing my swing, so really tough right now (I'm hitting too down, and out to in, making too much spin at the moment).

Only had a couple bad strikes with the T150s. Surprisingly forgiving overall though. Liked them!

I think if I was forced to choose, right now I'd go for the T200s, just for the feel.

Tried, Project X 120g 6.0, Modus 120 Stiff, and the AMT Black I currently play, and couldn't pick between the shafts either.

Will see how the Titleist fitting goes in a few weeks.

I think the new T350s and T200s do look way better though than my current 300s and the old letterbox 200s.

I also re-tested the Srixon zx5s and have to say those really are looking like my next set tbh.

I was surprised to see a real Titleist fitting in my area coming up.  But I chatted with Titleist and they said they use the range balls at the course.  Which kind of sucks TBH b/c that range is garbage.

Not all ranges have the funds for premium balls.  Especially bc people like to take them.  But, I'm like you in that I wouldn't get a fit with range balls.

Some quick feedback:

  • Hit the 150s back to back with my i230s (brought my 7 iron in, along with my ProV1x), and the store's ZX7 mkii. Same Modus 105 shaft in each.
  • I did not try the 100, 200, or 350, so I cannot comment on those.
  • The 150s were OK. They had a great shape to them and were fairly easy to hit, especially for their compact size.
  • I only compared solid, clean strikes, and noted the numbers I typically pay attention to: ball speed, peak height, spin, decent angle, and carry.
  • I thought they sounded a little "firm", but not terrible. The 7-iron looked like a slimmer version of the i230 with a rounded top line. The ZX7 was much squarer and sounded much denser than the 150s.
  • To me, the i230 sounded more muted than the 150. Could it be the tungsten or dual channel construction? I'm not sure.
  • The irons were fine, but for me, they wouldn't replace the Pings at more than $2000 CAD for a 7-piece set. I believe the Srixons are ~$400 cheaper than both the i230s and T150s.
  • The one huge stat that stood out to me (and this was a consistent thing I noticed) was the ball speed off the ZX7 was 4 to 5 mph higher than the other two. I didn't feel I was hitting them any better than the i230 or t150. My i230s have a 33° 7 iron whereas the other two are at 32°. I don't think the one degree of loft should account for the increase in ball speed, but I was seeing it over and over again.
  • I was so impressed with the performance and feel of the ZX7 (and I missed my first gen), that I ordered 5-PW on the spot, especially after the comparison with the T150s.

Sorry to the Titleist iron fanboys out there (I like Titleist a lot, but the 150s for me were just OK), but those were my findings.

Hope you all enjoy the new releases.

I wanted to order the T150s to have all Titleist bag BUT my ZX7 MKii feel so much better plus #s are spot on for me. I can’t stand that “click” sound/feel.

Same boat with the same shafts. My fitter said the shafts were back ordered until early Sep.

I am not finding that to be honest - similar spin, better turf and softness,  bit less forgiveness is what I find

In my experience, most Titleist fitting events have Prov1s.  They don’t put them out, but if you ask, they will give you a few.  Usually at my fittings I find something I like hitting with the normal range balls and then ask for a few Prov1s just to confirm that the numbers still look good.
