Been debating and maybe some off y’all can help me out. Should I purchase the t300 and save some cash or go all in with the t350? T350 sure look really nice

Go new t350s. They look so much nicer. Previous models were hideous. And the feel on the new model will be much nicer because it’s a forged face. Difference in price can be made up by skipping a couple of nights out with the wifey😜:)!

Ordered T150 5-P with stiff KBS $-Taper hard stepped on 8/9 through my pro shop and called Titleist today to see if I could link the order number to my Team Titleist profile. The rep from Titleist said they were not able to link the order and mentioned that KBS inventory was low and they weren't expecting a KBS shipment until the week of 8/28. The rep went on to say that I could expect my clubs to be shipped the week of 9/4 or 9/11. Just a heads up for anyone who ordered KBS that there may be a bit of a wait.

Order was updated to a 9/22 shipping date because of T150 backorder. Cool cool cool.

Did you bend the back-up set to blend them?

No.   So the gap from the 200 8 to the 150 9 is 5.5 degrees.   I'm not good enough for that to really matter.  Anything in the 5 degree range for me is close enough.  Maybe I'll have to adjust somehow when I get them on the course, but don't really expect to.

I just talked to a Titleist rep who said they just received a new large batch of T150 heads in, and my order (ordered on 8/14) “should” ship next week. Prior to today’s call I was told they would ship first week of September so it seems like Titleist was actually under promising about how fast they could replenish their T150 stock.

Everyone on here has been talking about how T150 heads would restock first week of September and speculating Titleist was managing expectations so this is a great update.

Just received an update that FedEx has received my order (T150s ordered on 8/14). I am really happy I paid for overnight shipping.

I'm waiting for the FedEx ship notification. I'm refreshing my phone every 15 minutes.  I guess the good thing is I'll have some time to play with them before the season ends in the northeast.

bit weird to me they made the t100 more progressive, meaning they made the 3-6 soles even bigger (and by a decent amount) and then tapered the soles down from 7-pw. You would think with the introduction of the t150 it's not needed, those players could just add a t150 4-5 iron instead.

I never had any problems with the forgiveness in the 4-6 irons in the t100 or ap2 series, they were about perfect.

I think the goal was to make a t100 a more friendly blade, providing help with launch and spin in the long irons which is what most people struggle with in a blade.  To do that they are likely putting more weight further down and farther away from the face, hence the bigger sole.

I think titleist has said  in a few of the tseries video the ap2 and t200 are more closely related than then ap2 and the 100/150.

If the back of the iron makes a difference, go T350.  If not, I think I read a review by someone on this site who said he was getting a couple extra yards with the T300, and the feel was the same.

They have always made the ap2, t100 a more forgiving players club. The long irons were always easy to hit in a players club but still kept the compact look. I remember my 712 ap2 irons, the long irons were spectacular. I just don't think they need to go bigger on them. That is what the t150 is for.

I saw that that the MMTs are in the custom catalog and they should be available to order soon and are my preferred shaft.  Does anyone know if Titleist can hit custom swingweights (within reason) on custom orders?  Looking at ordering a set of T100 at standard length with the MMT 125tx and hoping they can hit D3.

Should be easy peasy.  I confirmed via mail that they  have lightweight heads for all irons other than the mb and cb.  This would give them the flexibility to hit a very range of swing weights

Just bought the t150’s otr at Dick’s. I’m a long time ap2 and t100 player. Loved the gen 1 t100 not a huge fan of the gen 2, but as soon as I held the t150 my initial thought was that they finally have a true replacement for the ap2. I’m a high launch/high spin iron player so I’m hoping the stronger lofts will be a pleasant improvement. If adjustments need made I’ll do that later.  Right now I just can’t wait to get them out on the course.

Yes, love the rash decision guy. I’ll be watching for them to hit classifieds 😋 Let’s us know how it goes on course.

Honestly that’s good, I wish I could make decisions about clubs like that. The fact that I haven’t order any Titleist or Cally irons yet is crazy.

I was excited to hit these today and was thinking I would certainly be ordering to replace my 15 year old irons.

However, they reminded me of the SM9's in terms of feel. It's a little like hitting with a wooden board and much less softer on good strikes than mine. Basically all the shots whether well struck or a little thin/toe ... they all felt pretty dull and wooden. Does anybody else have this experience or does your strike produce a soft feeling? I accept it with the SM9's because I like the D grind and hit a bunch of other wedges and this performed the best around the greens. It might be not worth it though with the full iron set...

T150 and T200 7 irons in the Project X LZ

edit: I'll add I'm not too much of a feel-obsessive where I discard lots of head options over feel-- I don't recall another club that felt like this aside from the SM9. I was fit into the AP3's when those models came out and they felt fine as have most of the other irons and wedges that I've hit. I've been hitting the SM9's for weeks and noticed a similar feeling there and was surprised to recognize a similar wooden-board-like feeling in the T200's. Went back to hitting my clubs after the fitting/lesson and the solid shots (maybe 80% of strikes as I'm working on things) felt much nicer. Going into the fitting, I wasn't considering feel at all.
