If they told you to go to a retailer then that's one thing. But if you bought direct from them and they don't have inventory then...

 

TM sends the new model if they don't have stock of the old. 

TM is on top of their s*** when it comes to replacements.  I was sent a S2+ because the laminate layer on my OG Stealth was bubbling up.  I thought things would go smoothly as well with Callaway but that's not gonna happen.  Even if I were to get a replacement, I would have to wait at least a few months which is absolutely ridiculous.

Just talked with Callaway CS to get another replacement head. 5th one that has dented in the exact same location. Told me this would be my last warranty replacement since it's not a manufacturing defect..... 

 

All 5 have dented in the same exact location, and by viewing this thread, is a similar location for almost everyone.

They make a LD head for people in your situation. If you're swinging 80TX shafts at those speeds which is greater than most tour players you prob shouldnt be playing retail heads.

Brings in problem #2 for me. I'm left-handed, so my options are severely limited.

What is the theory on the weights? 14g in back, better dispersion?

If you have solid control of the face then weight up front can work. But once you start to lose face control or get the strike out of the center...watch out

Callaway CS used to be like Taylormade but they are terrible now. TD is the last Callway club I will ever own.

I felt that way for a few rounds but then got into some cold windy conditions where my swing wasn’t very dialed in and I was hitting some absolutely terrible push cuts over and over.  I had it 14B/8F fwiw. Think I’ll sacrifice the few extra yards for the dispersion I was getting 14B/2F even if the head feels kinda light.

Switched from G400 MAX to the Paradym Triple Diamond and it is incredibly long.  Two things though......I don't like the Triple Diamond's sound.  It is just so muted and dead sounding.  Also, you better hit the dead center of the clubface because if you miss it feels really bad.  The distance can't be argued with though.  It is really long and straight but foregiveness wise it is a driver that you have to be dead center of the face with in my experience.

For what the driver is, I find it very forgiving actually.  And… to my ears it is one of the best sounding drivers out there. Way better then any ping driver sounds

There is no sound to it. It’s literally one of the quietest and dead feeling drivers I’ve tested, and I still like it. IMO the best feeling driver they have produced was the Mavrik and now the AI lineup.

Finally flipped the weights around so that the 14g is in the front.  Whoa, this thing even longer, not to mention the strike is center nearly every swing.
