The PGA Tour's Greenbrier Classic finished on and par 3.

Shame that there could only be one winner. All three of them grinded out solid rounds today, and were clutch on the 18th in regulation. 

 

Very emotional win by Hannah. Crazy how time flies. Nearly four years since her last win? 

 

Cheyenne is going to have bad dreams about that shot that went OB. No needed to risk it with a poor lie. 

 

Good week overall. Greens didn't seem to be as big and factor today. Challenging course, but I do have one big complaint. Too many greens at fairway level leaving simple chips. The 18th is an exception. Give me the elevated greens at Carlton Woods.

2 playoff holes

 

1st. Green and Lin = birdie. Aditi = par.

 

2nd. Green = par. Lin's tee shot went into bunker.

 

Beth-Ann Nichols' write-up = seems to still have Angel Yin (or Ruoning Yin?)  on her mind ... all the references to XiYu Lin = all refer to "Yin" instead (i've corrected these, in the extract/quote below).

You say simple chips. They looked simple, but oft times didn't turn out that way!

Part of me wishes Hea Ran Ryu had won.  She fired her caddie after the Chevron but he has a clause in his contract that he gets 2 weeks' notice. and this was his last week.

 

Although it probably wouldn't have mattered, didn't Lydia fire a caddie right after a win, once, it's a heartless world out there.  lol

Caddies got to mesh with their players.. If the player feels unhappy or uncomfortable.. You can't blame them..
