Rarely easy but it just depends imo.  
 

Some things are easier to fix than others and I think it depends on the individual as well. Anything grip/wrist related took a long time to feel easy/normal for me.

Yes feels easy for a brief moment until you lose it, or something else again, rinse and repeat.

Maybe the better question is, "should it feel natural?" When you dont have to force it, you've probably got it.  Or you've backslid lol.

A new move will feel difficult while results are not what you want.  But once the results match the intent, be it a drill, or real shots on the course, then i think that's when your subconscious will stop fighting the change and allow you to feel comfortable.... at least in my experience.

Not always.  Swing changes can vary from a simple grip change to ingraining a new movement into your muscle memory.

It's always a fleeting feeling. Just a matter of how long it lasts.

 

If I give myself enough time, I always find a way to make the game seem really. really hard again.

I think I am getting it, but, I get on the golf course, and, seem to forget everything. Hopefully with enough practice, I will carry it from the range to the course. It has been a process.

It should feel right. Firm believer that aside from maybe the first few correct shots with a new/altered swing, if something feels awkward continuously then it might not be right for you or your body.

It will likely be easier...not necessarily easy.

 

But it will also likely cause something else to have to be changed...

I haven't gone through a swing change, still using a more refined version of one I learned with.  A proper swing should feel near effortless, not forced.  Easy is not the correct word.

 

Going through a swing change typically takes longer than most people calculate.  It's during the evolution, it will feel good and not so good, until it feels natural - near effortless, without thought. 

 

PS; a TV character peeing outdoors, was asked how long you going to be, he said it will take as long as it takes... 😛

I can usually tell how well a swing change or adjustment is going to work by how it settles at the top of my swing.  It just feels like time stops and the club gets lighter feeling and it sets me up to hit great shots.  

 

Unfortunately, because I don't play very often the challenge for me is holding onto that feeling.  For me it comes and goes very quickly.

 

I had it for 4 or 5 rounds to start the year and the game felt easy - I don't think I missed a fairway but then I didn't get to play for 2 weeks and I'm stuck trying to find it again.

I don't play nearly as often as I used to, and a feel player.  Every round has good and not so good shots, and 1 or 2 that are outstanding shots from near perfect swings. 

 

I take the outstanding 1 or 2 shots and visually dwell on each one, think of what I did to make the shot; and do that from day to day till I return.  Repetitious imaging helps me to walk to repeat the mechanics the next time.

Nailing a swing change and feeling easy is not always the result.  Can feel horrible or fantastic... maybe you love it maybe you hate it. 

 

Swing changes usually feel odd and often like you are making a HUGE change when it could be very minor... you know the old feeling vs reality thing
