IMO most off their designs are super "clunky" looking. I would like them to soften the edges more.

I agree, but I think an industrial look is kind of their thing.

I agree completely, they just look totally unrefined.  No question that Bettinardi is a great machining company, they just don’t look like they have an eye for the smaller details or finishing touch.

It would be so difficult to be these guys and not meander to the putters every week and pick things up and try them. Would take a level of self control I don't have!

You know of all the years not sure I have ever seen this mentioned.

 

You are correct.  We obviously have an added fix being the Ho's we are.

 

But even still Tiger and his Cameron alone must make any Pro drift to their bags.

Scottie and Rory though....

 

Putting is so weird. I feel like it's more a green reading skill for guys of that nature than a physical ball rolling skill, that combined with lack of confidence once you've conceptualized the frustration. Although I guess all of Scottie's heel strikes might say differently. Either way, putting is fascinating.

Brother, you are spot on with all of that said!!!  

 

There was a study decades ago at a college that gave a basic putter to students and logged their makes and misses.

 

Then handed them a Arnold Palmer putter that he won majors with and they all made way more putts!

Really? That's crazy but also not surprising at all. I guess confidence does come from the wand but if that's the case it feels like you don't have full trust in yourself, if you think the equipment is THAT big of a deal when you're at that skill level.

Not sure if these are similar to bb46 model or not, but the all black single bend with sight dot is pretty sweet!  Or the bronze with a top line…

Mark Hubbard is the only one i can think of (obviously a different neck)
 

Danielle Kang’s new putter is probably the most similar, which she apparently designed herself (alongside Scotty)
