Tour New Toulon putters - 2024 Genesis Invitational

Got my Vegas in, love the feel of the new milling and head geometry. Took a flier on the Diamana shaft and am glad I did so far. I knew I liked the stability I installed on my flow neck but the Diamana has more feel while still holding the line… it doesn’t feel like rebar. The new milling is less dull feeling than full diamond mill. Overall very happy, chocolate finish is very good looking, balance feels good with standard weight head. Nice soft click on putts.

This new Vegas continues to be a fantastic upgrade. The shaft is fantastic, offering low toque and feel. The milling feels great, and the overall balance really suits me. I have had multiple rounds now where putting feels more natural than ever, and I’m coming from the flow neck version Vegas and stability shaft. Alignment with the H1 hosel is much easier as well as the shaft offering more feel with the same benefit. Love this new Toulon!

And going forward you will also see designs that are totally unique to us and to them.  

 

I know it can be sensational to speculate that our relationship with Callaway is somehow contentious but in fact it’s a wonderful relationship that I am sure will last for many years.

Just placed my order for the NYC, pretty stock order beside the black shaft.

 

I shouldn't be buying any clubs really. First baby born this week, and I have no intention to play any golf anytime soon lol. Beside maybe father day I'll get to roll this putter. Either way I'm very excited, it give me Odyssey DW putter vibe. It's probably the best putter I've had, and I stupidly trade it in awhile back. So getting a pretty premium version of it is awesome!

Finally got to play a round today, and I had a great putting day. It definitely remind me of my previous Odyssey 5k DW, extremely consistent with my shorter putts. Which I have been painfully struggling lately. 
 

Putting was rolling beautifully and it felt great! Course was pretty pack today, and I got nothing but compliments on the putter when I was warming up. This release seem to be flying under the radar.

I have never had a more positive purchasing experience with a company before.  Toulon makes premium putters that look and feel exceptional and then take customer care/service to a level I have never experienced.

 

After releasing the First Run line, I waited for the Las Vegas double bend to become available.  In true WRX form, I wanted to change things shortly after I placed the order.  I wasn’t convinced which grip to get and the exact length.  I reached out to Toulon Golf to make the two changes.  Their responses went above and beyond.  Preston helped me pick the grip I wanted, including sending side-by-side pictures of the options.  He also adjusted the build to the oversized grip not originally on my order. 

 

I also communicated to Preston that I wanted the putter an inch longer.  Within the hour, my phone rang, and Sean Toulon was on the other end.  Mr. Toulon’s contribution to the golf equipment world spans decades and has likely touched all our bags.  We had a great conversation, including my wish list for the 25’ line.  The Toulon family is a class act that deeply cares about their family business.   After our call he headed over to the shop to build my putter and was kind enough to text a few pictures throughout the building process. 

 

I am thrilled with the new putter and look forward to the additional releases throughout 24’.

BTW, the one you posted a picture of back in 2023 was the 1st I saw without a sight line. Just a killer putter. How do like it?

Love it. I'm in the process of drastically shrinking my on hand inventory, and it made the cut. 1 of only 6 putters left. I don't game it anymore, but when putting gets bulky I do switch back to it. All Putters are flow necks, the Palm Beach is the only one whose neck isn't attached on the extreme heel. When my putting needs a jolt, I can switch back to it because I can keep the ball a hair back in my stance and get a little different look/feel.

That's awesome. I'm definitely going to add a Palm Beach or Sea Island to my arsenal one of these days. Only flow necks for me too.....with only sight dots or nothing at all as I cannot stand a sight line.

We have very similar preferences. FYI, there is a Sea Island on eBay for $1,200 right now, and the gentleman who has it listed seems to be a motivated seller. May be able to grab it for $1,000 or less. I'll tell ya brother those Small Batch putters made of 904L feel really good, and sound good too. My gamer is the Sausalito. Absolutely love it. Thought I wouldn't like the sight dot, so planned on removing the paint fill in it, but I have ultimately left it as stock. I seem to having an appreciation for the sight dot on a black putter head.

I love that script in the cavity. Wish they all had that. Not a big fan of logos for a site dot. Bettinardi does that too with some Hive releases. Looks cool, but not very practical IMO.
