Do people actually use their Swag or Hatch head covers??

Do people just buy Swag or Hatch head covers to collect or resell, or does anyone actually put them in the bag? They’re great quality but I’m not sure I’ve seen one in person in use.

I have a swag masters mallet cover and I use it. Don't understand buying headcovers to not use them.

Gaming Swag putter and covers on putter, driver, 3wd... yet to pull trigger on swaggy hybrid headcover, but maybe soon.

Some "wtf, skulls, on golf gear?" looks from older guys... but kids and younger folks seem to love them, including a couple guys who I caught trying to steal my covers after a round at Poplar in San Mateo... o' those were the days...

Only headcovers that I have that I don’t “game” seems to be the ones that come with the clubs 😂

Sure, plenty of things fall into jewels not tools, I was curious if these were those things as they appear to be. I know people spend a lot on their head covers, and I have some expensive ones, but was curious on these due to the resale market, specifically offered by Swag themselves.

I’ve got a bag of head covers. Driver 5w and 3-6h. I don’t think the bag could take that many premium covers!

I don't buy anything for resale, or that I won't use, period.  I have 3 great custom head covers, Driver, 3wd and putter and a custom bag, all in use, and complemented regularly.

couldn't imagine paying Swag prices and not using them. See lots of them on Ebay all the time though. They hold their resale for sure.

I've never understood it with these things either. I know people that collect watches and/or alcohol and their good stuff always stowed away in a cellar or safe. 

 

Personally, I'll only buy watches I want to wear, liquor and wine I want to drink, and golf clubs I want to use. If I wanted to collect something that wasn't going to use I think I'd go for something like art or photography that could still be displayed and enjoyed. The thought of owning something coveted and then hiding it away is a little sad to me.

I'll admit I've done a few I've listed. I have a small liquor collection cause I used to enjoy a drink every so often but have drastically slowed down, what I have isn't insane and I didn't go overboard so not too bad there it will eventually be finished even if friends need to help. 

 

Cigars, this one I regret, bought a bunch, like a few hundred but kinda stopped enjoying them when it was essentially burning money away, I now have a stash I don't want and will probably throw out eventually.

Mostly the same for me, too, though I don't have any really boutique covers, either. My lone exception is the 5w cover that I put on upside-down so the mfr design is not really visible and appears to be a plain gray cover. Just not my thing to sport brand names on my stuff. If they paid me - hah! - that'd be a different story...

I just got my first hatch cover today and its very nice. I collect Arnold Palmer/umbrella themed covers and they made some for the API a few weeks ago.

 

I dont buy SWAG stuff because they make putters and I dont want to use their stuff on a non-swag putter or etc. Like I wouldnt put a scotty cover on an odyssey.

 

Hatch doesnt make putters so my OCD feels fine using them. I have it on my spider and it looks fantastic.
