This is at least the 7th or 8th Small Batch, plus the full line for the 24 collection.

WTF with limited release, uber high-priced, 007 models?

 

Is it literally impossible to produce this putter shape at an affordable price?

 

One is left to think so...

If they didn't make it in 904L steel then probably but "fancy steel" = fancy price.

Love this from the watch world regarding the "fancy steel." Seems like this is the same play Scotty makes with GSS, which by the way is a registered trademark to Acushnet for marketing purposes.

 

"In my opinion, Rolex’s use of 904L steel over 316L is mainly a marketing ploy. I don’t want to call it a gimmick per se. Still, I don’t believe the technical benefits of 904L were indeed at the forefront of the Rolex marketing team’s mind. Aside from the additional corrosion resistance, 904L takes on a fine polish, which gives Rolex watches a subtle yet noticeable look. The color is also slightly cooler and whiter, thanks to the lower carbon content and higher chromium content."

No doubt another top notch Anser copy. I typically try not to comment in these threads with a “complaint”. But just not feelin’ what’s going on in the cavity.

Where on the spectrum does Betti’s DASS fall? I’m personally holding out for TASS!

Toulon has been popping off recently. The little milling on the sole is sweet

And there is another example of opinions aren’t wrong, they just differ. To me that milling (and the type of milling on the soles of some TM wedges/irons) just looks unfinished to me 🤷🏼‍♂️

That's not the same thing at all.  When's the last time an OTR had one cherry bomb with Titleist in the cavity?  Those are fine.  People are tired of the constant three cherry bombs.  Way played out.  Toulon is making much cleaner putters than Cameron now.

I’m not here for a Cameron vs. Toulon debate. Sorry SK 🍺 😊 Just my opinion on a red circle w/Titleist script vs. the diagonal aesthetic of this particular Toulon.

The Tiger putter is not typically available for sale from Titleist.  What's available for purchase is overly busy three cherry bomb products with zero mention of Titleist.  For the record Ping also offers much cleaner milled OTR putters than Titleist these days.  Titleist putters seem to be losing some mojo on tour too which is sad because I've always liked the brand.  Scheffler, Willy Z leaving, etc...

Hopefully Titleist will make clean products again but until they do I've got my eye on a black LAB Link.1.

Not that I really care that much. But just to provide some info that for me it’s not about this OEM vs that OEM. (Unfortunate IMO that it turned into that. But I’m def not surprised) I like the cavity on this one much better than the diagonal w/the stars.

That looks more like the 2024 Toulon collection, albeit in a different color.
