Lol. Have you been to Sky Harbor lately? Ever try renting a car at the rental center? I'd much rather drive from LA to Phoenix than fly from LAX to Sky Harbor.

My buddy told me Sky Train has been completed to the rental center. So no more lining up for the shuttle bus. I used to hate having the person in front of me, be the last person to board the bus.😄

Janet or Minjee? Former ASU alum Anna or Carlota for darkhorses.

I can’t work this out . My picking has been off for awhile. Going to take Minjee and MiHyang and maybe reload at half time

Jin posting about mental health and lifestyle concerns and worrying me. Think she’s done throwing everything she has at her sport . Can’t really blame her . So Yeon Ryu gone soon too. Must be pretty tough to just keep grinding

used to love that ol' airport... now, not so much either... i mean it IS OLD and for me, still feels old (despite the "upgrades or continued planned upgrades")... now even the rental cars are a pain... i still love phoenix though, despite almost leaning into a cactus (while resting on a hike to camelback! oops, east coaster here) and yes, getting rattled by the "beware of rattlesnakes and scorpions signs posted as i filled up on some gas stations en route to sedona, flagstaff, etc

Wowsers - if Isi Gabsa is going to shoot a 64, anyone in the field can win this one. Maybe even Gina Kim can get her round percolating today.

Gabi tied for the lead, but still too early to get excited.

Lucy Li keeping it rolling along too.

Lee6 birdies her last 2 holes for some good mojo tomorrow but still an ugly 74, 10 shots off the pace - hasn't been the same since losing to Minjee at Evian.

This course seems easier, which is probably why those who skipped last week would rather play here if choosing one.

Meg must feel real old playing with Hae Ran and CW

There should be some bombs in the Yealimi, Amy Yin, SoMi group

Yes, back to the racetrack this week.  I wonder whether the course or the schedule (travel back from Asia, some may not want to go three in a row) has more to do with players teeing it up?  I think the better players should like the difficult tracks?  Last week did have some awkward shots though.  Probably also a few where the difference between a decent/good shot and ending up in a terrible spot wasn't that much.  Maybe the modern game is more about seeing exactly what is in front of you and flying it right next to the hole?

Anyways, I thought last week was an interesting tournament/test and I hope more players will give it a go in the future (Si Ri named event, etc).

After six tournaments, and a tough start to the season with an average winning score of 14.5 under, I figured we'd get a birdiefest in Arizona. 'Just not a lot of tough courses in AZ that are willing to host a tournament in the prime winter golf season.

The old Founders at Wildfire was always good for better than 20 under winning scores. Sei Young shot 27 under in 2016.

Hate seeing them teeing it up at a residential layout with backyards 25 yds off the fairways. They deserve better.

Anyone know what HYP's plans are for the season?  I'm kind of surprised she's playing / if she keeps playing a full schedule (just a general comment; I don't follow her closely).  Perhaps the last lap around the track before she moves on to other stages of life.  Either way, the swing still looks good.

Been a big fan for years. Would love to see her get back into the mix, but my feeling is that she's doing a farewell tour before retiring shortly. Would love to be wrong.

She is 26..and you know who said it's all down hill after 26.

Well she definitely peaked in that no way she is winning 3x in a season again,  but I'm shocked should she not remain consistent and competitive each week. The golf gods denied her a win last year because the beloved Rose decided to turn pro 😂

She did look promising, but how many times have we all thought that, only to be duped by the inconsistency that follows a win or a few good weeks. Probably only been a dozen or so truly consistent players in the last decade.
