Circle T authentic?

Would appreciate and WRX Scotty experts helping me discern if this Scotty is an authentic circle T?

I would say it’s real.  Can’t say I have ever seen a 1.5 with a site dot that was fake.  Everything on this one looks to be well done.

The fitment of the weights looks “off”.  As well as the font alignment.  Could be the lighting and shadows, but odd to me.

What does the shaft band look like?  I am 50/50 on this one.  If you want to know, probably going to have to send it for authentication.

I know.   I was laughing when I posted this. If that is real, that is absolutely without any doubt, the worst SC I’ve ever seen in my life and I’d be embarrassed to own that.  Those CT weights look off, the CT in the weights looks super skinny, the CT logo on the bottom looks really bad.  Those are my reasons for saying this  one is fake.

I've seen models just like this offered in the Wed raffle.  Could be fake but I don't think so.  Need more photos for sure

I’m not sure about the OP’s putter being real, but I know this is wrong. That’s the OTR version.

The weights are the least to worry about as most people change those and the fakes on ebay are about 20 dollars and are more accurate in weight that the real ones. Everything else looks fine and I've yet to see a fake with a site dot.

Weights can be fake but the putter could be real. Some guys don't care and have the regular fake weights but some guys need it to say CT.

I have fake weights for one of my real CTs, but I also have the real ones that I can take photos of.  Real people with CTs don't lose the weights unless the putter is stolen... they also have the head covers and usually the grips even if they were taken off.

 

It is a bad sign.  It breaks the 50/50 tie for me.

I looked at nearly a couple of hundred Scotty's on https://www.tourscottys.com/ before I found one (Tour) with the same font.  So, I stand corrected.  It is real.

the putter is 100% real. not sure I've seen the fake 1.5 Newport of this model. they normally stick with faking the Newport or Newport 2.

This is my gamer golo, I purchased new weights for it while it was in the custom shop. These are 100% as real as they can get, coming from the Scotty Cameron studio. Also a fairly skinny circle t compared to the picture posted above with the fatter CT.

 

I never bought into the "connected stitching" fake headcovers as well. I have 2 circle t headcovers from the gallery with connected stitching? Food for thought.

 

IMO the putter is authentic, send the weights to scotty if you want to know bad enough.

a lot of the obvious ones have connected stitching. then there's plenty of legit ones with connected stitching. especially in the early model ones.

This is fairly new, almost every letter is connected.
