I picked a 3 up today at Pgatoursuperstore in The Woodlands.  Comes with a Dart shaft.  Like most of the new utilities you do see more of the back of the club.  Looks like it will be a launcher!

Pics? And how does a retailer like PGASS have it before TM launches/announces it?

I was supposed to test these today but the fitter said the shipping was delayed. Said they’ll be on the site first week of May.

Time to start snooping around my local stores! Love they’re tightening up their offerings in the driving iron department and with that new proto iron Rory is testing… things are looking good!

 

What I would love from @TaylorMade Golf is something to compete with the callaway UW…as for what that would be I’m thinking to bring back the rescue wood since TM has been on a retro trend recently 😎

There were a couple demos out at my local PGASS yesterday of the UDI. I have the OG P790 UDI yet from ~7 years ago and the new one is definitely has a wider sole and ticker top line. You can see some of the back of the club but doesn't look bad at all. Excited to test this one out when it comes out. Maybe coming out this Friday?

4 iron in udi appears not be a European option, similar to the stealth udi, the 4 iron was impossible to find.  Not impressed with shaft option either.

$100 seems to be the standard upcharge for the proto hybrid from other OEMs as well. Good shaft, but wouldn’t call that a deal. Retails for $150 directly through KBS. Would be nice if they offered S+ flex or 105g weight options

I think the P-DHY is a more refined Stealth UDI, and the P-UDI is a bit more compact. At least that’s my take from seeing the pictures of both.

Guy at my local range had the P UDI in a 2 iron with the DART shaft. I hit a few with it. Really nice club.. The most forgiving driving iron I have ever hit from Taylormade. Very surprised..

Any comparison yet to previous versions of Taylormade UDIs or DHYs? Mainly Stealth or even SIM generations. Forgiveness, launch, spin, ball speed etc.

Saw the P-UDI today and it looks absolutely perfect. I spent a lot of time hitting the T200 2 iron which was extremely consistent in the 225 yard carry range but didn't even see the P-UDI until I was on the way out. I'm going to get back to GolfGalaxy this week to hit it compared to my hybrid.

I played in 30+ mph winds last weekend and decided I needed one of these. First impression is very good. 
 

Looks great. Feels so much better than the P790 UDI I tried a couple years ago. The Recoil Dart 105X seems like a decent shaft.

Edit: my wife is a saint for putting up with my nonsense. I had the 3 bent to 21*

They just don’t keep it as stock at clubhouse golf. If you switch to custom then 4 iron is available.
