Stenson was one my favorite players as a teen. Awesome ball striker and absolutely loved the 3 wood. That 2016 Open is the best final round of a major I’ve ever seen

I think there's an opportunity for the LIV television product to become something unique and entertaining in a way the PGAT could not mimic. 

 

Since so many of the events are time-shifted for a U.S. audience, why not create a tight two or three hour edited broadcast to air here? I'm thinking of something not dissimilar from the Shell's World of Golf or the one-hour recaps of past majors that often air before the current year's final round coverage. 

 

This would give them a chance to build a narrative and create some excitement around the evolving competition. Plus it would mitigate the impacts of the shotgun start and finish.

They might as well play 12 hole rounds, that gets you the 3 hour viewing experience.

It's probably in their contract that they would be captain but there is not enough teams.

 

Subject to their respective contracts, all 3 probably won't be relegated.

Yes, 25% as reported which is why the PGAT now gives their players/membership equity in the tour. IMO

No, that is not why the PGA Tour now provides equity to players, to the extent that it does.  Concepts really aren't the same and the objectives and opportunities created aren't the same.

Well, certainly not the sole reason. Loyalty pay and incentive to make them stay on the tour is part of it as well. I would imagine.
