Full aimpoint is goofy to me, but using your feet to feel the break doesn’t take any longer than guys that walk around the green and read their putt from every 5 degrees of angle.  I read every putt with my feet to get my initial read and I’m still the fastest putter on the green.  I think some people see someone using their feet and just assume they’re doing aim point.

 

That video above though is the poster child for slow play.  Though I’d argue Bryson lining up and re-lining up and re-lining up his ball prior to putting is just as slow and bad for golf.  Shot.  Clock.

If the free stream had ads but the pay streams did not, I wouldn’t complain (well I’d complain about something else).  I think that’s part of the reason why people are complaining.
 

It’s like when Amazon prime starting putting ads before their content. I was paying for that service precisely because I don’t want to watch ads and here we are, an increase in price for a decrease in quality. So I canceled prime and went back to pirating. 🤷🏼‍♂️

But it has to be said that the Descente clothes he wears are the best looking line in golf right now. No stupid collarless shirts, no tiny symbols on the fabric, which always make it look dirty (are you listening, Justin Rose?) no ridiculous colours, which make you look like a medieval court jester.

I'll give Scottie a pass for now, he's been through a lot recently with the baby and police, and we've all probably done a little putter flip at one time missing big putts by a hair, it really wasn't that bad. He does need to suck it up though, guy has been beyond good for so long, he was bound to come back to earth.

And I agree enough with the Aimpoint thing, both using it and calling it "Aimpoint", it's a nice method they came up with but hardly some magic system that needs it's own name, let's just say they're standing on the line to get a read, and it's mostly a waste of time, Jack and Tiger didn't need it and neither do we.
