I get sick when I look...

But I did find quite abit on sale and one used club which looked like new. I would say roughly 2 grand in the bag and another $600 that will not fit in the bag. Then there is the other bag, another 2 grand in there easily. Mainly Ping, Odyssey, TaylorMade, even some wood "woods" that are in 9+ shape. Love the feel of a nice wood... God that doesn't sound right...

than double that $1K price tag. Fortunately, I don't have to pay retail and
many times I get lucky and pay nothing at all. It gets tougher though to get
equipment at no cost unless you have great connections or are playing on
one of the tours. There's still plenty of PUD pricing to be had.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to wear that out...

I would guess 95% of the people on this forum have $1k retail bags, all things considered.

drivers, irons, wedges, putter, balls, bag, accessories... honestly you'd have to work pretty hard to stay below $1k as a registered member here.

If it's retail price, then yes, my bag is worth more than $1k.

Non-retail, then I've only spent about $100-150 total over the past 13 years. Most of my stuff are hand-me-downs so... yeah. I'm planning on buying my first driver very soon though (I didn't pay for my last 2 drivers). So I guess you can add $100-150 (what I plan to spend on a driver) to my total.

My current playing bage is 1400 and have about 890 in other clubs out of rotation. Also have $1400 for sale. I'm a value player and try to stay about 1-2 years behind the technology curve as you save quite a bit. I ususally change irons every 2 years, drivers I go thru 3-5 per year looking for majic and then 3-5 putters. My current driver is just about perfect right now but I will be trying diffent shafts in the upcoming year looking for a few extra yards.
