Don't forget your bag and accessories (balls, rangefinder, headcovers, etc). It quickly adds up!

Headcovers are stock, I don't pay for golf balls anymore (school gives them to me) and no rangefinder.

tees are probably 5-10 dollars a year.

I don't even want to try to do this math... plus I don't want it documented either in case my wife finds it... :D

BUT it always helps when I remember that some have putters alone that are worth more than my entire bag or they have about 5 complete sets of clubs...

Cobra King LTD 9*, Fujikura Ventus TR Red 6X
Cobra King Tec 17*, Fujikura Axiom 105S

Adams A12 19*, Diamana Thump X
TM TP MC/MB, Fujikura Axiom 105S
Vokey 250.08, SM9 54-S & 60-V, DG S400

My set is fairly conservative, but I thought they were really expensive seeing as how I"m learning on them.

[CAD]
Callaway FT-iq - $200
Cobra SZ Irons - $400
Callway X-forged Wedges - 2x $80
Odyssey White Hot Tour - $80
so $840 in clubs plus the bag makes $980 all in.

As far as balls go I play whatever I find when I reach into a tub of 340 balls that my friend's uncle gave me.

I have 3 bags (2 in remote offices) each filled with over $2k of gear.

Beyond those bags, I have 3 extra tour 909 drivers, a couple spare sets of irons, some Camerons including a CT and some wedges.

All in all about $9-10k in sticks

Try living down under. With the Aus dollar getting close to parity with the greenback prices there are a lot of clubs "on sale" but full retail is pretty painful.

Fancy Taylormade gear. Burner irons retail for $1020, the R9s for $1150 and nearly $1300 for the TPs. With your irons sorted out you are going to need a half way decent driver, the Super Tri is a steal at $580 compared to the ST TP at $730. Are you cursed with a high swing speed, a heavy hitter who needs the radical spin reduction of the Super Deep perhaps? If so then you better have a spare $900 or so lying around. Throw in a 3 wood at $350 and maybe a hybrid for $250 and another couple for a putter and you are ready to hit the course ..... almost. How could you possibly put those shiny new clubs in your worn out old bag. Just one last piece in the puzzle, a staff bag, $450. Pray your shoes are still in good nick!

TM are not a standout, Callaway, Mizuno, Ping & Titleist are all competitively priced.

my clubs were stolen last year, the insurance company sent me to their favored retailer to get them replaced...looking at the receipt right now, $4983.07..ROFL, but in fairness includes clicgear buggy, shoes, bag and 2 doz balls....

Obviously that is full RRP. The bag was nothing special, just nice shafts in the woods. Would guess the original cost me around $1K to put together on eBay, the most expensive item being new mp-60s with PX shafts

Not that hard to go over $1k, especially when you think about the kinds of putters that WRXers own. Obviously this can all change when you consider some of the bargains that can be picked up on BST here, etc.

Mine adds up to roughly $1500 if you don't include the bag, but that's mainly because I have a custom Byron and most of the stuff in the bag was bought brand new.

I guess the appropriate question would be 2k bags. How can you not have a 1k bag.
