I played some Black Friday golf at Aston Oaks. Poor front 9 going out in 49 but got it going coming in with a 40 on the back. It had been awhile since picking up the clubs.

Just curious to see if anybody down in Ohio is going to be playing tomorrow? Weather doesn't look all too bad, Anybody know of any courses that are open between Findlay and Dayton or maybe Findlay and Columbus?

Not exactly new news but, Top Golf is building in Columbus. Right next to the new Ikea off Gemini Pkwy (Polaris). Not the best location, but I can see why given the space available. Opening Summer/Fall 2018.

This winter would be a great one to have skytrak or something similar. Next house for me I will have a simulator!

Simulator league starts tomorrow. 8-10 weeks of indoor golf. It beat nothing.

Fellow south west OH golfers. Looking to possibly join Heatherwoode for 2018. Moved closer to it this fall and have always loved the course and practice facility. Quick question on weekend rounds in the 7-8am range. Any troubles getting tee times? I have typically played after noon on weekends previously.

It will typically be pretty busy during those hours. Most of the time you can grab a tee time somewhere near what you are looking for, but there will be times where you cannot. Also, it tends to be a little slow in the mornings out there, at least the past few times I have played.

Miles of Golf in Fairfield will be having their demo days coming up soon in 2/2019. 2/10, 2/17, 2/24 I think - noon to 4. If your on the email list - they should be sending something out in a week or so. When I get the email, I will place details in this thread. Hope for good weather!

Hate to be that guy, but can anyone offer me some knowledge on how to set up a round at Scioto? I've got a relative in Columbus and he's been dying to play. I'm out of state, so my network is quite small in Ohio. I'm a member at a semi-private in Michigan and I could arrange a round there for the favor of an intro...

Good luck, unless you're a member at a private club of stature; and even then it's not a sure shot.

Couldn't make it out there this week, weather just too crumy and I haven't swung a club in 2+ months. Maybe next week or week after I can force myself to go, but I don't plan on hitting anything and then buying later in the year. My bag is set.

You’re going to have to get lucky and have someone on this site that’s a member see your post and offer an invite. Dont hold your breath.

 

I’ve lived here 10 years now just 1 mile from the course and I’ve yet to be asked. I Drive by it almost every day. Irritating actually.

 

I have one friend that is a social member and doesn’t Golf....ever. Pathetic. The Dummy plays Polo!! Just My luck!!

I'll probably be up there next saturday as well. Totally forgot about it this past weekend. I think Miles has been such a blessing for the golfing community in this area. They are seriously the best at what they do.

I've been bow hunting around bainbridge (ross cty) for 15yrs have a place to stay.

Never thought about golf down there,dont see many courses. Any good recommendations around chillicothe,bainbridge area.

Yeah those wedges look sweet. If I hadn't just bought the Mack Daddy Forged over the holidays I would be all over them.
