Any Stillmeadow reviews?

 

It's not bad. Used to be the old royal oak I believe. New owners have done a lot of work to it. Adam jones belongs there and will sometimes be with a few Bengal players playing so that's cool. Membership rates aren't bad if you are looking to join, I almost did but decided to get married instead.

It's also not all thatgood, but I have not played there in at least 15 years. I used to work there when it was Royal Oak and I rarely ever played there. It has some silly holes. A few Bengals belonged there at the time when I worked there as well.

Absolutely was a great day. Blew a few holes resulting in a disappointing 88. However, laughed harder than I have had in months. Great times.

She turned her back me on the back 9, had shot a 35 on front and 42 on back from black. Really enjoyed not having a wedge into every green and on par 3s. Oh and this is the second time I've been here this year and someone drains a hole-in-one. I must be good luck for other people on that course. So if you're looking for one I'll gladly join you just pay my green fee and beer after the round lol.

I bet no more golf for me until next spring. I think I have a tear on my lateral elbow tendon. Still painful after 2 weeks. I know a tear. Probably going to have to endure 2 maybe 3 PRP injections in that spot, which would probably be better than surgery.. Having already had that on both elbows (medial) I am familiar with the pain. And my elbow problems are not even from golf, I had a student pull a chair out from underneath me 15 years ago amd am paying the price now.

It was just in great condition, the greens were not crazy hard to the point that there weren't any ball markes but definitely not very soft. The greens were holding great just not breaking like you would think when reading them.

The green speed was definitely very consistent from green to green as when we were at Walden they varied quite a bit.

So sorry to hear that. When it happened I was hoping you would be back on the course within a couple of weeks but I know you were in a lot of pain. Lets try and play some rounds next year when the season starts back up.

40% left lateral elbow tendon tear. PRP in 2 weeks and I will have to probablyhave to do that 3 times. (PAIN) but I know it will work out. No golf until May or June for me. Oh well.

 

Guess I can justify adding to the putter collection now!

Bend - sorry to hear this. Get it all taken care of and come back next year with an over the top international summer tour that tops the domestic one this summer!

 

I finally played golf again over the Labor Day weekend. First time since end of July. Guys at Miles of Golf were even wondering where Id been.

 

I need to take a month of more often it seems....Cruised to a 37-37, lol.

I wasn't a huge of that list. I read it and disagreed with a bunch of selections they had in the top 100.. and some they don't have in it which should be in it. I do like how the list is pretty different from the Golf digest list. Having different perspectives is always good. But IMO, Camargo is not better than Scioto and The Golf Club. Camargo is really good (and fully deserving of top 100) but it's not as good as those tracks. They have it ranked virtually the same as MVGC and IMO MVGC is on a different level from the rest of the courses in Ohio.

You are correct in that a lot of the holes at Inverness are the same, I use to work there and have played the course a ton.. #7 is just hard hole plain and simple, they are making changes so I'm curious to see the course after the changes are done... Kirtland is awesome, Pepper Pike Club is awesome, Canton Brookside is up there as well..
