I would love to get a round going again if folks are up for it. Though its going to be hard to beat the hole in one story from our last round :-)

 

So I am down if others are interested. Stonelick again? Heatherwoode? Road trip to Harbor Links? Really any course would be fine with me. Lets get something lined up.

Not in higher ed, those jobs typically pay LESS but have MUCH BETTER working conditions, unless you are a Dean or very high admin at a large university.

 

Not a lot of hiring going on in K-12 education, it's a really TOUGH job market, most , if not all school districts have cut so much, and class sizes are pretty large now.

 

Out of 194 Ohio golf courses played so far, Moraine CC is the best, even over Camargo. Out of the 502 total played, it's easily top 10.

 

Too bad I wasn't clearing my hips too well (like a dummy) and lost 4 balls LEFT, killing my round. But still, I only lost my match 2 and 1.

I am watching my 9th grader to be play in his high school soccer tourney up in Cleveland, I'll be playing Black Diamond near Millersburg in the way home today. Hopefully it is a decent course.

Ok, let me throw out some dates and see if we get any traction. I am in Cincinnati so Cincinnati/Dayton general area would be my preference (Stonelick, Heatherwoode, Harbor Links,Elks, etc..).

 

1)option one is Weekend of August 12th/13th. I can do either day

 

and/or

 

2)option two is weekday of Friday August 18th ( I already have that day off :-) ).

 

Respond with which one works best or if you have other dates that work better and lets get something going. Anybody and everybody is welcome of course. I would be happy to play both weekend and weekday if there is interest.

Love BD! That is not too far from my neck of the woods. It's pretty tricked up and a tough course. Never a flat lie anywhere (even on the tee box the ball is above or below your feet).

 

Fun to play once or twice a year, but on days your ballstriking is a bit off, it's a really really long day.

Think Im just about done for the year. Kids soccer club team has started. Practice 3x/week. Have 2 scrimmages scheduled in the next 10 days. First tournament is weekend of Aug 18-20. Most of my free time will be watching her, which I love and wouldnt trade. She made the elite team at her club this year and Im stoked to watch some great soccer. We are traveling to Fairfax, VA the first weekend in October for a big tournament as well. Hit em well boys. I will probably get out a couple more times here and there - but nothing like our dancing friend Bend.... :taunt:

I played both of those last August. I actually thought that the new-ish Ackerman course was better too. This time we are playing Harrison Hills CC and Coyote Crossing. I am trying hard to squeeze in "50" new courses this year.

I am out for the 12th now, wife wants me to do something with her and I'll be gone all day on the 13th. I went to Indy early this morning and played 27 holes at Eagle Creek (Sycamore and Pines)
