The anti ho club, longest living club in a WRXer's bag

Has to be the TM 200 Steel I bought brand new what 6 or 7 yrs ago (maybe longer getting old) was in the bag till 3 weeks ago, finally got a R9 and a XConn shaft and put it in the bag. The only reason it came out is for the adjustability of the R9 man I love to fiddle. LOL the other thing is the Ping Anser that I bought in 82 still put in every once in a while but using a belly now so may have to extend it.

My putter has been in the bag continuously since summer 2006, about 4 months after I started playing seriously. I haven't even entertained the thought about replacing it let alone actually bought another putter since then. That putter has probably seen about 30 different 3 woods over that period of time though. My irons are right behind with 4 years this past summer.

I still play a 1940s Ted Smith putter, It had been my grandfather's and it's been in my bag since he passed in 1986. Every other club has been switched out multiple times. I check putters every time I'm in a pro shop and haven't found anything I like nearly as much.

Ping Anser 3 putter has been in my bag since the summer of 1985, almost 27 years ago.

It's the only putter I own and will probably be the only putter I will ever own. It now wears a custom Delilah head cover, 25 years after I bought the putter!

If you asked me about 4 months ago, it would have been my putter, a Scotty Cameron Napa that had been in the bag since around 2000. But I recently benched it in favor of an Odyssey ProType putter.

So now the longest lived club in my bag is actually my irons: Titleist 681s. Since 2001. They may not count though because they are my 2nd set of them, I had to replace my original set about 3 years ago when the grooves wore out on 7-PW.

The C4 was/is still a mystery to me. I remember the pro shop where I worked in high school and college got a demo when they were being introduced. We couldn't keep it in the shop. Well, I snuck out on the course with it a few times and the thing felt like a sack of laundry. Nothing. The distance was marginal. But everyone else talked about how awesome the club was for them. Oh well...

Bought Ping BeCu Eye2s when they came out. 'L' Wedge is still in the bag. Other clubs have come and gone. It remains, sadly, what's left of it. New EPA rules, Ping says theycan no longer re-groove, re-finish or do anything except re-shaft.. Retired the 8802 last year. That was 2nd in senioirty.

Wilson Staff JPII Custom Grind wedge, 56 degree- I have no idea how old it is now, maybe from the mid 80s? Wilson has made a lot of good wedges, it would be interesting to find a product chronology.

My two oldest clubs, my Launcher 400 driver since early 2005 and Scotty Stainless NP 2.5 since 2004, were ousted this year. I finally bought a 460cc driver in the Rapture V2 (bomber) and did a review for the Anser Milled, which has been as pure as anything I've ever putted with. Now, I guess it would be my 585h from '06.

910F 15°. It's been in the bag since August..granted I did change the shaft today (finally) but the "club" is still the same club. I've carried the same small items in a bag pocket since Feb or so, so I guess that would be the longest thing in my bag.
