The anti ho club, longest living club in a WRXer's bag

21* V-Steel. Although the current gamer is a new one I took out of the closet last season. When I put a 3w in the bag its still my original V-Steel. My original still there for range and mat duty in the winter. Back to my Cleveland 900 rtg 60* after 2 or 3 years trying other LW's.

I've owned a set of the original RAC LT's almost every year since they were released, but I've had my Srixon Tour AD hybrids straight through since a month after hitting the shelves.

Original AP2's, had them since march of '08 I think.

The A7 hybrids will probabaly outlive those irons though. As much as I want something else like 16* & 20* A12 Pros or even a CB4 Tour 4 wood and a 20* A12 I just can't hit those A7's bad.

Thread Bump...I can't believe I started this thread 10 years ago! It is time to check in and see what club has survived the longest in WRXer's bag? I have my Karsten Series Craz-e, but I have not had it in the bag the whole time. The longest reigning club in my bag is my Cobra F6 baffler. I think I bought it late 2017 or early 2018. I've got 4 seasons on it now.

Adams A7 4 & 5 hybrids serving as my 3 and 4 irons. Think they were released in 2007. Soo much better than irons for me.

Scotty Cameron Studio Design 1 from 2001. It was my first Scotty and I've been hooked ever since. Had it since new and will never part with it.

I caved and replaced my Cleveland CG7 Tours with i210's this year. But, I got new irons that were already two + years old - so that must count for something. 

 

Additionally, I've still got my Diablo Edge and Octane Tour 3 woods in steady rotation as well as my RAZR X Tour 4h and Callaway JAWS CC Slate 58* in the bag. All of them are 10+ years old. 

 

Great clubs that still work fine. Not planning on replacing them anytime soon.

Original Callaway Steelhead 9w with DGX100 Lite steel shaft has been in the bag for over 20 years.

 

The run May have come to an end this year as I was losing distance with it and have been using a TM SIM Max 9w with a Diamana D+ 80s with great results.

Same here. After replacing the Adams Pro Gold hybrids I gamed for 10 years last year, the F6 Baffler is my longest serving club.

 

I like it so much I bought a backup a few months ago.

Mizuno MP Titanium (early 2010) 3 wood. I’ve had 4 other three woods since I got it new, loaned it to a friend for awhile, changed shafts twice, but I just can’t quit that head. Ended up just buying a 5 wood last year and it’s great too. When I went in for a fitting last summer to replace it my club guy balked and said he wouldn’t sell me anything new after my warmup and when I couldn’t tell him concretely what I hoped to gain with a new model.

it hasn't been in the bag for the entire time i've had it, but my Ping Anser 17° hybrid. Some of the dates you guys are listing are older than I am but I've had this club since about 2015/2016 and all that's changed is i've upgraded to a X-Stiff shaft

• Scotty Cameron Kombi -S (2011) I rotate putters but I play the Kombi-S quite a bit.  I've also got a Ping Anser (circa 1980), Ping Ally (mid 90's), and Ping B60 (mid 90s) that I use from time to time.

The longest ? Was my cobra 3, 4, and 5 hybrids, baffler . Maybe 7 years. At least in my near past. The oldest currently? Last year I bought a tight lie 3 wood. That’s the oldest now.

I have had my Scotty since '08. Just swapped my Mizuno irons from 2012 last month after a great run, would still be running with them but face wear was becoming a real issue

Ping Kushin went in my great-uncle's bag new in 1969, to my grandpa sometime in the 80s, to mine in 1998 where it still resides. It has paid for itself several times over 🙂

Ditto (although mine's just a stiff shaft).  I also have a spare in my backup/holiday bag.  The Anser 17 is a sensational club.
