I think the more revealing question would be:

If you didn't have a choice and only got an offer from one company (golf equipment) - would you turn any of them down?

I'll admit that my equipment prejudices would go away pretty fast for anything free.

Callaway. All in all, they make the best full line of clubs for my game. Also, their tour stuff is amazing. I already have an FT Tour, TA X-proto's 2-pw and just ordered a Razr X Tour hybrid to experiment with. I also game an Odyssey putter on and off and plan on buying some new wedges for next year and some of theirs are on the list. The Hex Black tour is also my favorite golf ball. If I was forced to used their clubs, I would definitely go w/ a Razr Fit TA, Razr fit 3w, Razr X Tour hybrid, X-protos 2-pw, X-Jaws 56, 60, 64 and an Odyssey Metal X #8 in addition to the sabertooth belly I already made. All that in one of their staff bags would look really cool.
I would love them the most, however, Ping, Mizuno, Nike and Adams could also work no problem.

If I had to choose a golf brand I'd go Titleist. Even though they don't appear in my current bag, they seem to put out the best stuff consistently. That and even though I seem to be a Taylormade guy when it comes to drivers, I don't like TM irons as much.

I would prefer to be sponsored by non-golf companies so I could pick and choose my bag a little more freely. In that case I'd try to go:

Marquis Jets
Cadillac
Johnnie Walker (prefer Glenfiddich but haven't seen 'em sponsor anyone)
Hugo Boss

If I had to go throughout the bag, I would probably go for the TMAAG combo. Adams woods and hybrids, either TM or Adams irons, TM wedges and a Ghost Spider with a TP5. If I could mix and match. Adams woods and hybrids, Mizuno irons and wedges, putter I would chop and change and in terms of the ball I could go for either a Penta TP5, Hex Black or B330-S. Truth be told there aren't too many brands where I wouldn't be able to find a happy fit throughout the line up. Not the biggest fan of Callaway woods but other than that I would sign on with pretty much any OEM.

None. OEM's make players do stupid things and wear clown costumes. I will be happy with a hypothetical "pay cut."

 

 

OEM's also give players free staff bags with their names on it and unlimites brand new balls and clubs and clothes and shoes and everything that a club ho truly loves. Small price to pay for the clown suit
