Good job Titleist. You have essentially made the same driver since 1997. Just bigger and bigger with new paint jobs.
Can we nominate your post as the worst and most uneducated ever? Dude, you are oblivious.
Yeah!! no kidding.. since 1997?, bigger&bigger?, new paint jobs? really! wow!

Longer? I hope its straighter. Since 1996, the oems have been making distance increase claims, so how come I hit my Greatest Big Bertha 283 yards, and my 975 D 290 when I pure it. If it doesn't go longer than that, do I get my money back?

They aren't TM. No need to make a silly claim.

Is it me or does the face look a little bigger than the 910's.
Same old schmeel from EVERY club manufacturer. Yes it's longer. How? "Oh we've changed the internal weighting and made it hotter across the face. We've also lowered the spin rates." Let's see I think Ping said that about the i20/G20. Taylormade - Yup. Adams - Yup. Callaway - check. You'd think after all these years that they'd get that launch angle/spin rate/internal weighting/hotter face thing right by now. :D

Yes. I will be buying it just like I've done for every Titleist driver. But the same old same old schmeel gets old really fast.

This reminds me of when the Iphone 4s came out. I'm sure it's a little better, essentially identical hardware, new tech inside....

And so far, the only difference I've heard is "longer". To me, .83 across more of the face is more forgiving, not longer.

Overall I was really looking forward to this, and I'm sure as more info comes out I'll start wanting one, but I at least wanted it to LOOK different than the 910....that way I could let the fact that tour players use them take hold and buy one. From what I'm seeing, I'm not sure if I could distinguish a 910 from a 913 except for the red accents.

If you guys don't really like the red/white stripes, they easily come off with nail polish remover. I do it all the time to my scotties to remove the red and custom color it to blue.

With the 913, it's just black/grey underneath the red/white. I did a quick photoshop edit. It's a very simple process to remove the paint if it really affects you.

Funny because in the video they said it was longer, so yes they are very much like taylormade.

HAHhahha what a load. These drivers arent going to be any more forgiving than the 910's---they just got a new cover and paintjob.
Every year they tell you its longer---but every year you pull the same club from the bag at the same holes.

I wish there was an independent lab with an iron byron or something as such to independently verify the veracity of these BS claims by these club makers.
You need to buy a new driver every 2 years?

How many people started getting better when they actually just played the set they had, got used to it and worked on their swing and short game?
Jackie Burke once said--a good player is a guy who didnt give up---not a guy who bought new clubs every 6 months.
Oh well, who am I kidding here?

Great to see the 913 driver pics - earlier than expected. I am certainly a fan of Titleist drivers and after playing the Ping i20 recently I have no doubt, 913 will be in my bag next season. I wish 913 had the matt finish like the i20 which is nice.
Like the face but I am not a fan of the "go faster stripes" painting, although I wound not go so far as removing those if the driver came like that on the market - please keep it simple and keep just the slim red line and remove the white one.
Nice to see the sock on the headcover. Not 100% sure about the leather look on the cover - too hardcore/"industrial" like the new Scotty Newport cover; is this the trend now?. Someone mentioned Callaway and indeed the red "V" on the cover top reminds me a bit of it. Overall a great driver and I will buy into it. Like the D3 heads but the monitor and discance whould show which one I will end up with.
When is the launch for the fairways and hybirds?

Actually interesting to see in the proto pics, that Rory will switch from the 910 D2 to the D3 913 driver - http://www.golfwrx.com/30100/titleist-first-look-prototype-913-drivers/ .
That would be my choice too :superman2:

I'm not a Titleist man, however this is a great looking driver. I like the headcover also.
"It's longer". Really, by how much? There's a saying in education, In God We Trust, All Else Bring Data.
That said, get one of the robot driver machines, add a vector
and lets legitimately compare last year's 910 against the new 913 under the same swing
conditions (i.e speed, launch angle, etc). Then show us the data and let the numbers speak for the club.
From a consumer perspective, this type of marketing is much more valuable to the consumer than
some pro beating balls on a range. The 913 looks good, but without data, it's just another driver on the market
IMO.

Was looking forward to the 913 line, but the first thing I thought was it looks like a TM R9 Supertri. Also not digging all the business on the face, but if it's as good as they say it is I'll give it a whack.

I was talking about the whole money back if its not longer claim... no need for the disclaimer to sell clubs.

Check the distance on the mis-hits! That's where you will pick up most of the "extra" distance.
