The 913 doesn't look bad but it'll have to perform to kick the 910 from the bag. Not a fan of the face graphics either.

Everyone keeps commenting on face graphics. While I'm not crazy about them, I'm wondering if they are on there to be seen from certain angles. The pictures of them being swung, you can see the face, but nothing other than the alignment marks on the face.

I also like that they kept the shaft attachment the same. Having the ability to test this head vs the ole 910 on the same exact shaft will prove interesting.

Titleist has historically been a no bull player's company. This club appears to be something one may expect from a company like Taylormade or Callaway. I'm not one for all the bells and whistles, but as I said, if it performs well it will be played.

I agree and I see much more difference between the 910 and the new 913 in the sole plate plus the obvious design and placement of the sole weight and the addition of different internal weighting.

This driver must have required a complete retooling of the manufacturing process. Anyone saying a "new paint job" works for a competitor, or is just a D-Bag.

[u][b]Hit it where?[/b][/u] Since Titleist has only made up heads for their PGA Tour players (none of the Champions tour or [s]Nationwide[/s]WebDotcom guys have them yet), I feel very comfortable saying none of the reps have them yet to show/hit.

You're absolutely correct Greg. I just wish the OEMs would phrase it as eloquently as you have. When they make a blanket statement like "It's longer" it gives the perception that center hits are going to go further, which is not going to happen.

Thanks for the post and interview. I just wish there were a few more guys demo-ing the 913, so we could get some player feedback. The graphics on the face are busy. I wonder how much you can see it at address, and I wonder if it is purely aesthetics or if it enhances anything. The compatibility between the 910 and 913 is HUGE. And guys, they always say the new drivers are longer... Don't fall for it until you hit it. I'll definitely give it a whirl next to my 910.

U can be as comfortable as u want but ur wrong. I played golf yesterday with my buddy at my cc who is the ball, shoe, glove rep on tour and he has one. Hit it several times. Got it earlier in the week. Why would I make that up?
