I would think that with Steve's smooth swing that doesn't load the shaft very hard at the top that this setup is WAY too stiff and he is using serious yardage.

I'm sure though this is how he likes it and gives him the best chance at hitting fairways and more than likely it eliminates the left side of the course. Some guys like the rebar I guess!!

I don't know, but he also says that they'll be see in august on tour....which is wrong, they were out in june...so I don't believe it.

Got some good news from an extremely knowledgable person about some of the stock shaft for the 913's.

D2 and D3: Bassara W for Titleist, Aldila RIP, Aldila Phenom, Diamana S+, and Diamana D+ (All REAL DEAL!! No Made For)

F and H: Bassara W for Titleist, Aldila Phenom, Diamana S+, and Diamana D+ (same as above)

Looks pretty good to me, especially the real deal shaft in the Diamana's. There might be more, but the ones above for confirmed.

Looks like the 913F with a Diamana S+ 82 stiff will be in my bag as soon as I can order one. Hopefully the S+ 82 won't come with an upcharge, as the Blueboard is typically the 72 version while the Whiteboard comes in the 82 gram version.

I saw the D2 today. Very nice looking. Shafts appear to be the real deal. Couldn't hit it---wasn't offered but many of the store employees did. No comments on the numbers they generated. I thought the headcover was a magnetic one ala the Callaway TA Razr Fit but it is another long sock thing...

[/quote] I had a chance to handle a few of these bad boys today and talk to a Titleist rep about the technology of the 913 as opposed to the 910. The biggest thing I think that is different is that they moved the CG in the D3 down and back more so the D3 and D2 actually come off with the same trajectory and spin rates. The D3 is more workable because it is a more squat head design, and the D2 is a more forgiving yet still long everyman's driver. As far as looks go, it's pretty much dead on the 910 at address, a little grey-er i suppose.

Saw the new hybrid and fairway yesterday. They look identical to the 910 series in terms of size and shape. Supposedly they have improved launch and ball speed done with some internal changes. I think that the weight on the back of these can be changed to effect launch conditions as well, instead of just swingweight purposes. The hosel has been slimmed down on the new fairways and hybrids so the 910 series shafts can't be used. Sales rep said there will be a program to change the surefit hosel on exsisting 910 shafts if customers want to do that. The new shafts looked nice , nice matted paint finish. Saw a 62 gr diamana blue and 72 grm white board which are supposed to be the real deal and not MFT for the drivers.. Rep said drivers will be available mid Nov, fairways and hybrids not till Feb.

Slimmed the hybrid and fairway hosels, kept the basics there, improved the ball speed, and including some hot new REAL shaft, to compliment their great stock offerings.

Rep came by my local club to let the head pro put his hands on the 913 D2 and D3. I got to hit the D3 with the 70g S+. Rep confirmed they will be the stock offerings. Also confirmed the adapter refit program, but no pricing info on that yet.

Will be buying one ASAP. I'm still hitting a G5 so I can't speak to any differences between the 910 and 913.

I've heard a shipdate to a local retailer was listed in September (Can't Remember Early Mid Late). He said they wont be available to the public then. Would they let them sit around at the store for weeks before they go out on the floor for sale?
